Visited here for a meal for my granddaughters birthday. The staff were lovely, friendly and obliging but the food was poor. It seemed to me that it was made from pre prepared ingredients. The pizzas had too much cheese and not enough toppings making them fatty. The pasta dishes not nice at all. I definitely would not eat here again.

Very frosty reception from an older member of staff,quite rude and ill mannered. We had booked so we were expected.Menus thrust at us,no explanation of set menu, came to take order very quickly and impatient that we hadn't quite decided.Other staff very personable. Food average.Lovely place,won't be back though due to attitude of waiter.

We love this restaurant, we normally order to take away and always get pasta dishes because they are amazing and I guess we are set in our ways! However we went in to eat last week and had pizzas, and they were absolutely fantastic, probably the best pizza we have ever had! Staff friendly and welcoming, will be coming back, thank you!

Very happy to have discovered this restaurant while working nearby. The service has been excellent, the food it just brilliant, couldnât ask for more. There arenât many vegan restaurants or options nearby, this is the most vegan friendly place I have found. While the menu doesnât list their options, they are happy to show all their sfv options and Iâve enjoyed pizza, risotto and bruschetta here - all divine! Obviously all the food is cooked fresh, and very well, my compliments to the chef. Also, the little touches - lively ambient music, very sharp pizza knives, and great service with a smile. I hope I get to return in future, and advise anyone considering a meal here to get stuck in. Buon appetito!

It was our first visit to Bistecco very impressed with the service. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Very attentive without being intrusive. The food was great and exceeded expectations portion sizes perfect. We will definitely be back soon

I never feel comfortable in this place, and i have been a ew times, given it a few chances and each time, i think its the sullen staff who stand around and stare at you that is very off putting. The food is a bit hit and miss. I have had good food experiences and the last two time i went i was very disappointed. Not sure i will be going again. lovely restaurant. excellent . atmosphere. varied menu Two of our party had to cancel at the last minute leaving no time to inform Papa`s of the change but it was no trouble to rearrange seating, just took few minutes extra to seat us. enjoyable as always.

Good food decent price lovely setting. They have two restaurants this is the nicer one set amongst the countryside. Lovely bar, piano playing in the entrance. Roast dinner was good, plenty of meat, great veg. Would have been excelled if they created their own Yorkshire puddings, they looked shop bought very small and only with the beef. Theyâre so cheap and easy to make id advise making them chunky and putting them with every roast. The starters were a little plain. Iâd recommend being a bit more adventurous. Other than that good wine selection, nice setting, great staff. We will be back

We booked a table for 5 on a Saturday night with friends. The restaurant was very busy. There was a really atmosphere. We all had starters which were really good portions I recommend the breaded brie it's DEWCIOUS. The mains came all was lovely and tasty. Again the portions were really good. The staff were brilliant as it was very busy. Really had a great night. We definitely be returning soon. Keep up the good work. X
