Fresh Food served everyday, including a tradtional Carvery and full menu options including steaks, salads, pizza, pasta, burgers, BBQ ribs, traditional pub favorites like liver, bacon and onion, steak & ale pie, fish & chips, kids meals and much more. Fun
We had a carvery lunch here last Saturday and I was surprised to find the place almost empty. Without specifying any beer in particular I ordered a pint of lager and when I got the bill I noticed the young barmaid had given me the one that costs over £5 a pint. Okay so she's probably been told to do that by the management. The food was okay. The options were beef, ham and turkey. The main problem with it was it wasn't hot. Just barely warm. After we paid our bill we said goodbye to the two staff as you do (a young man and the young barmaid) who had spent nearly our entire time there standing at the counter in deep conversation. They didn't even look up. I thought they probably didn't hear me so I said it again a little louder as we headed for the door. This time they both looked up and gave me a weird look like I had rudely disturbed their little chat. They didn't acknowledge us in any way and got back to chatting. All in all not a great experience.Hello, we are sorry that you were unhappy with your visit. Usually when a customer asks for a lager without specifying which one, we will give them an Estrella as this is the most popular one which costs £4.90.I am sorry to hear the food wasn't up to our usual standard & I would like to invite you back to give us an opportunity to show you that your experience is not the norm. Also our staff are usually praised for their customer service so again sorry this wasn't the case for you, we have highlighted this to them so it is not repeated in future. If you would like to discuss in more detail what went wrong and how we can rectify this for you, please contact me directly on [email protected]. Best Wishes, Manager.

La Fontana Italian Restaurant & Bar is situated in the heart of Bedford town Centre. A Romantic but fun atmoshere, where you can dine a Romantic evening, meet friends or business colleagues for lunch, drink an excellent wine or just simply have a coffee..
My wife and I visited last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, having not been here since the new owners took over a couple of years ago. The venue still offers the same charm and warmth it always did with the addition of some very enthusiastic and genuinely friendly owners and staff. The food was fresh, plentiful and very tasty. We arrived and left feeling really valued and will be keen to return - thank you for a really enjoyable evening.

This Restaurant is run by the same people as ran Cellar 72 in Bedford. Cellar 72 has closed - so this Restaurant replaces Cellar 72 - is it possible to link the two restaurants?
booked for 7.45pm, quite empty very surprising. £85.00 for 2 course meals for 4 people, bottle of wine and 3 beers. Food was average nothing with wow factor. Note to Owner/Manager...when you have young members of staff waiting on tables it is very disrespectful of them to call customers "my lovely" very very rude and patrinosing!!!

We took a chance and arrived without booking. The restaurant was very busy with several large family parties but the staff accomodated us. It was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being "in your face". We had comimentary olives and garlic bread. I had the antipasto which was delicious (see photo) and hubby had bruschetto which was also very tasty. Mains were lovely.. good size portions. Delicious Baileys panacotta and ptofiteroles completed the meal. Lovely atmosphere, great food and attentive staff. Will definitely be back soon.

Wood Fired Pizzeria, Bar & Italian Trattoria. Award Winning Mamma Concetta Now In Bedford Town Centre. Come And Enjoy The Wonderful Decor, Ambience And Above All The Food!!
Itâs probably the best pizzeria in Bedford by far. Personally I consider it to be the closest to authentic Italian pizzerias. Do not expect doughy, bready and thick pizzas, these are rubbish. The atmosphere is always warm and service professional and attentive. Starters and pizzas were delicious and we were so stuffed we didnât get dessert. Will visit again and I do recommend you to visit it.
