Biriyani is nice here, we ordered few times, and every time it went well. Food is tasty, they are extremely fast to deliver and a good varieties are present. It is a value for money also. The ambience could have been more restaurant like, which I feel is not, and hence I always prefer take away!

I was really looking forward to a relaxing Sunday evening dinner with a friend.The place was empty (no other customers) but Iâd heard good things so wasnât put off. The waiter immediately stood over us, asking what we wanted before providing the menu. I ordered a bottle of wine, whilst we looked at the menu.They then came asking for our food order, we asked for a minute to think and he seemed offended. We offered to order starters whilst we picked our mains. The waiter walked off and came back and said it was mandatory to order mains. We asked for a moment, he replied only if we ordered a main.As a young woman I was intimidated staying their alone at this point and asked if we could pay for the wine and leave. I paid the money and one of the staff followed us out shouting that it wasnât a bar.I was genuinely intimidated and would never return. Would warn women on their own not to go either.

Went for a family meal on Sunday 5th and was late lunch sitting at 245. Service was excellent and waiters really looked after us well. Food selection is really good and the quality of the food we had was great. The Calzone was excellent albeit huge and the Lasagne was very nice. Plenty of other dishes to choose from as well and would not hesitate to come back again.

We ate here tonight, staying at a nearby hotel, as my husband is doing Ride London tomorrow. We booked ahead for a 6:30 table and we were looking forward to it having read the reviews.On arrival we stood by the bar by the entrance door, ignored for several minutes until finally getting shown to our table. A grumpy waiter gave us menus and left us and despite trying to catch the eye of someone we got no attention at all for 30 minutes. When we finally managed to attract their attention grumpy waiter returned and grudgingly took our order, we had changed our initial thoughts of two courses to one bowl of pasta each so we could eat quickly and leave. We ordered drinks and given it was a very warm night and one of us is cycling 100 miles tomorrow, as were most people eating there tonight, we ordered a jug of tap water. The drinks were literally plonked in the table - my glass of red was incorrectly brought as a glass of white, given the waiter banged the drinks down and left I didnât have the strength to try and get what I had actually ordered. The tap water never materialised.The food itself was good, hearty portions, for me too much sauce for the pasta but tasty. After a lengthy wait for the bill we left and wouldnât return. The waiter seemed to realise the service had been poor and did make a kind of apology, but really it was a bit late for that. They had clearly overbooked due to all the cyclists in the area, greedy for the business perhaps, but were giving substandard service to everyone. Very disappointed, would not recommend and wouldnât go back.

Dinner for 6 people on Saturday evening at Mora. This is a busy Italian restaurant, with a good selection of starters, pastas and mains. Reasonably priced, with very friendly staff. A good selection of Italian and Sicilian wines.We had booked and the place was busy.

Have been going to this restaurant for many years now and have always loved the experience. My daughter and partner took me there for Mother's Day last week and as always had a great time. The food was superb and very good portions too, the service as always was very good and the atmosphere is always brilliant. Will highly recommend this place to everyone.

We popped in for some lunch and given the restaurant was quiet we thought it would be a quick visit. How wrong we were! Drinks took 10 minutes to arrive but that was only the beginning of the fiasco. After half an hour we had to chase our starters having seen our dough bites sat on the pass for a good 5 minutes. We were then told they would come out with our starters. When we challenged the fact that the dough bites are in the âWhile You Waitâ section of the menu we were told âThatâs not how we do it hereâ! When we spoke to the manager, Victoria, the attitude was quite unexpected and totally unprofessional. Our food finally arrived and whilst most of the starters were nice, the dough bites were cold and the mixed seafood starter was over fried. When our mains arrived, one was incorrect (which looked microwaved with wilted rocket on top) and we were then told it would take about 10 minutes to cook the correct meal. We had to ask the waitress to take the remaining meals back as we expect to all eat together. At this point we were beyond fed up with the terrible customer service and asked them to cancel the mains and left to go to a Pizza Hut

I've visit La barrique more then couple of times now. I usually visit with family or friends because the place has lovely atmosphere. The staff working there provides Excellent service and is friendly. I recommend this place to everyone as it suits all people. The pizzas there are the best so I always keep on comming back. When I went there couple of times I was few times welcomed and looked after by Elena. She knows how to provide Excellent customer service. Staff like that should be everywhere.

We come here frequently - so glad to live within walking distance of this amazing local business. The food is divine, the experience is incredibly authentic and it is so affordable. Almost feels like youâre dining in someoneâs home - the owner will come and chat to you about the menu, and always asks for your feedback afterwards. Highly recommend!
