Holmfirth is a small town on the A6024 Woodhead Road in the Holme Valley, within the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Centred upon the confluence of the Holme and Ribble rivers, Holmfirth is 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Huddersfield and 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Glossop. It mostly consists of stone-built cottages nestled in the Pennine hills. The Peak District National Park around Holme Moss is 4 miles (6.4 km) to the south of the town.

Disgusting food, will never ever use this place again. This is supposed to be a calzone pizza. Yuk, a greasy horrible...pancake or is it an omelette? God knows it's disgusting, that will teach me... If you want Italian you go to an Italian take away

This is without doubt the best indian takeaway in the area! A portion of Bhaji is the size of 4 portions anywhere else. The currys are unique in their flavours. How many times do great sit in restaurants make poor takeaway dishes? it proves that takeaways are not always easy to produce but Azeem does it better than most. I've eaten in lots of restaurants allover the world and this humble little place is still one of the best!!

Tucked away into the winding roads of the charming town of Holmfirth, this true hidden gem is a must visit for any lover of the Indian cuisine. This is a palace of tantalising flavours that will wow you every time. I have gradually fallen into becoming a regular at this fine establishment, and it is the first place on our lips every time we are looking for some tasty food. The combination of authenticity with the decor and the modern but traditional menu are a true fusion to die for. The service is polite and speedy, with a real personal touch from the delightful staff. I would like to extend direct gratitude to the staff who are always making my trips extra special, Waj and Jay. They are a credit to the business and themselves, always making myself and the family comfortable and at home. The presentation of the food is delightful, and so aesthetically appealing that we almost feel guilty eating the food and ruining the way itâs presented! Taste-wise, the fresh blend of spices is spot-on and could not be better. The food comes out piping hot and sizzling- could you ask for more? Make sure you have room for all three courses, because starters and desserts are a must, either side of mains. Please keep doing what youâre doing Spice Fusion, because weâre definitely going to keep coming!Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.

My friend a regular had brought us a curry from here recently and it was so nice I thought i would order from them a delivery tonight. I have to say my curry is nice again...only pro of this encounter, as the delivery man was so rude. I ordered on their own website and entered all my address details and the order was accepted. The delivery man turned up (which after my description to my friend turns out he could actually be the owner which is disgusting), firstly before I could say anything he demanded more money off me. I had paid online in good faith and then he started demanding more money off me as he said it was further than they care to deliver. I felt this was completely inappropriate and also felt like he was quite confronting as he stepped right up like he was going to step in my doorway. When I said I didnât have any change as I didnât feel comfortable to leave my door open he shouted at me and told me never to order again. I was in absolute shock, I couldnât believe how someone conducting a business could behave in this manner. He left so I locked my door and rang the curry place straight away and gave them a piece of my mind asking them how dare they send someone like that to my property who was almost threatening. I told them not to worry about me ever ordering again and I would notify my friends who are regulars, who were just as disgusted as me with the service I had received.

Got a take away from here not long ago and wasnât too impressed and had an upset stomach the next day. The guys in the place were really friendly and helpful hence Iâm not giving it a 1 star. It is an extremely competitive area for Asian cuisine and chefs canât really afford to be having a bad day with restaurants like Blue Tiger up the road at Honley. Wonât be trying again.

Quite a few of us went and despite this the staff handled the party size very well, food excellent and really canât say more because I donât normally do Indian food and it was just ordered and given to me...however it was better than Iâve had anywhere else ...it was very interesting and had huge levels and depths of flavours

Came here (Honkey)for a meal when we were over from NZ.The food must be some of the best around and the quality was amazing.The service was a bit slow but the owner came over to us and explained the reasons.Would highly recommend Balooshai if you want a quality Indian meal at a very reasonable price.It is easy to find and there is plenty of free parking immediately behind the place.

cant understand where all these great reviews are coming from?? our meal wasnt good at all..5of us.on sunday night..it was very Busy...but ..the decor is so dated and depressing ..like stepping back 20 years..my prawn cocktail was a bowl of marie rose slopp...i left it..all of us left most of our currys...the staff asked if we wanted to take it home??what to give it to the dog?..just didnt think it was worth 120 pounds ..p.s the staff were very friendly....
