We have used Tamarind on many occasions, whether it's to dine in or a delivery. We're local so it's nice to walk there if the weather permits. The service is always excellent, the food is delicious, and for the average appetite, plentiful. Our last 3 orders included 2 lamb dishes and the lamb on all occasions was tender and succulent.Drinks are always a bit more expensive in any restaurant, but you don't have to feel obliged to order if you don't want to. We've always had a good experience at Tamarind Spice.

Tried this place as a change from the Noor Jahan and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly being Nepalese and not Bangladesh /Indian ,it has its own style and flavours , extra kick great taste to the sauces etc and was a very good experience overall . Will go back

We were recommended this restaurant, but unfortunately it didnât live up to expectations. We had to wait nearly 90 minutes for our food to arrive. Once it did it was all rather tasteless including the spicier curryâs and the side dishes. Speaking to other diners it appears that the restaurant is a victim of its own previous success. Seemingly unable to cope with the extra tables since an extension resulting in the quality of the food and service not being great.

This was always the best for curry when we lived in locally. So, having lived overseas for the past 14 years we were craving a curry and had sampled a few others the past five weeks in London. We were not disappointed and introduced our daughter to this place as her new local curry house. It appears the same owners and chef run the place. We again had our best Dansak and Jalfrezi here today since we left along with other samplingâs.Great service and terrific food which we will miss until our next visit.

First time here and what a gem! Almost donât want to say how good because too many people will then come. A delight. Excellent service. The menu is not vast but it is sufficient. If you are vegetarian , vegan, coeliac then this is definitely the place for you. Meat eaters have sufficient choice too.A real cut above the usual Indian restaurant. I cannot praise the place highly enough. Canât wait to go back!Hi JaneThank you for writing this review, don't worry we dont have too many people...yet. You are sure to get a table here.We can't wait to serve you again!Kind RegardsVinny

Our traditional form of culinary preparation means that no preservatives or artificial colours are involved in the preparation of our dishes, only pure food with pure taste and pure colour. We are also happy to boast a wide variety of both vegetarian and
Lovely food although a lot of the dishes had the same taste.....we all shared. The waiter that remembered the meals of all eight of us was quite impressive. He only got one thing wrong...plain naan arrived instead of keema....didnât upset him by telling him though He was great for a bit of banter.Only negative was that you have to fight for any glasses of tap water and they donât give you a jug of it...had to keep asking for it... uncomfortable.Overall a good evening was had by all so will definitely go back again.

Contemporary and classy consisting of two seating areas. One creating a cozy fine dine feel to it and the other a more casual and relaxed atmosphere. The food is authentic Indian with a modern twist and Street Food Tapas and it is "HAUTE INDIAN CUISINE" a

The home of Indian Cuisine in Nescot Skills Park. Ewell, near Epsom, Surrey. Please join us in our licensed restaurant or take advantage of our takeaway collection of delivery service. Free parking.
We attended on a Thursday evening for a mid week meal. We had more dishes than we would at a normal curry since the price is very reasonable. The restaurant was not busy and the food which arrived was very nice. We did have to order an extra rice so would advise one rice per person. Try the sizzling meat starter for two to share!

Though our food will tell you our story. Modern Indian Cuisine brought to you by world class chefs in a rustic but cosy setting.
We're not regulars here (yet) but have eaten a few times. Evenings at the weekend are buzzing (service is still good) but lunchtime works the best for us - it's much quieter. The menu is small and well selected (and undergoes an occasional tweak). Starters are all tasty (chicken chops, samosa chat our favourites) and the mains are universally good (pork vindaloo is just divine). It's difficult to fault a restaurant like this - it's a rival to Mr Todiwala's Cafe Namaste Spice in London, but much better value for money. It's a fine place, and they have made a fantastic job in creating a restaurant with atmosphere (even though it's on the Ewell bypass).I can't speak highly enough of Dastaan & wish them continuing success.
