While staying in a nearby Abnb we wanted a local Indian takeaway. We were very lucky to find Elachi. Absolutely wonderful Bangladeshi/Indian food: Top tip order about half of what you want! The food was well package, ladled and ready on time. The quality was top class with 3 different main course dishes all colourful, aromatic and very tasty. What a shame they donât deliver to our home in Herts!Fully recommended and a definite place to visit the next time we are in the area.

We decided to give this place a try after reading some excellent reviews, on first impressions it looks like a takeaway shop but once inside we were pleasantly surprised! The food certainly lived up expectations with very generous portions, the chicken silsila dish was amazing in particular! Itâs bring your own alcohol too which was a first for us at a restaurant but not a problem as we came prepared.

A brand new restaurant experience to be had in the exciting city of Doncaster. Our specialty is South Asian cuisine and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Amazing choice of menu items, so I'm lucky that I was with a friend who could help me choose. When it came, the food looked impressive and tasted delicious - it was obvious that other customers shared the same views about their choices. Couldn't finish it all, and probably should have left out the starter - the portions did look quite big. The staff were friendly and attentive, and seemed to know their job well.

After passing this place a number of times and often forgetting, we finally booked our monthly night out at this place.sadly the reservation made online was not booked when we arrived, luckily they had space for out small party. The atmosphere was great and open, not too busy & great place to be overall. The food was excellent however a great choice on the menu as we have one of those fussy eaters in the group. Damn those pesky Veggies! He was more then happy with the options as this can be limiting in some Establishments.Only 2 negatives to point out.1- The drinks orders came incorrect on 3 occasions.2- Parking, its limited to a few places so have to park down a residential street.I imagine if this place was in the town cente it would be heaving.Hope it will thrive & Look forward to coming back soon.

Itâs always nice to visit The Dower, itâs certainly becoming an institution of Bawtry.Always a lovely greeting from Ronnie and his two sons, we are taken care off superbly from start to finish. The menu, as always offers something for everyoneâs palette. The wines are also good and reasonably priced. The only thing I will say, and we should know better living in Bawtry, the food is always better midweek, simply because the kitchen isnât under as much pressure. We visited on a Saturday, and it was a little substandard.

Not been here for about 2 years. Family decided to book as local one had gone down hill in our eyes. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left the staff couldnât do any more to make us all welcome. Food was excellent, never had as much chicken in a curry. Everybody enjoyed it even picky teenagers said it was good. Many thanks to all, we will definitely return.

Myself and a friend decided to go here as it was on the way back home and always had a good reputation. We werenât disappointed. The food was excellent and despite over-ordering, we managed to almost finish. The service was excellent too. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

A stylish, contemporary Indian Restaurant serving authentic Indian & Bengali cuisine. Great service with friendly, yet attentive staff. Expertly cooked, tasty food from Abdul and his brigade of chefs. The menu offers a wide choice and the pricing represen
We tried this place for a home delivery as our usual one had started skimping on portions. Whilst the portions looked smaller there was in fact plenty of meat and a little less sauce. The food was tasty and there was enough of it. It was a little more expensive, but then it was a nice meal. Will I use again? I am sure I will.

The Aagrah experience is designed to overwhelm you with a complete sensory journey, encompassing the rich cultural ambiance and truly remarkable culinary sensation of authentic Kashmiri cuisine... Time and time again... Balancing time-honoured dishes with
Walked in seated straight away, drinks order taken, pickle tray arrived, all very quick, waited 10 mins for drinks to arrive (beer and gin). Asked if they did wholemeal rice, a manager came over and said everything is gluten and wheat free that they use, so against my better judgement (having a issue with white rice) I thought I'd give the rice a go. The garlic naan tasted like a plain naan, and the food wasnt to our taste. The table was being cleared whilst we were still eating. All seemed a bit rushed even though it was empty and only 8.30. Was left with unpleasant bloating due to dietary needs and overall was an average evening. We won't be returning

Award winning Indian/Kashmiri Restaurant based in Doncaster. Established in 2012. Fully licensed establishment with wines and beers from all parts of the world.
We visited here for an early mid week dinner. There was an all you can eat buffet available but we opted for the standard menu, a restaurant with an all you can eat buffet always strikes me as a little desperate. The restaurant was a little quite which surprised me considering the good reviews Iâve had from friends.Where we were sat had a terrible draft every time the door was opened, we asked if we could be moved and we were moved with no problem at all next to the radiator. There was an extensive menu with some nice surprises we havenât seen elsewhere, the food was good quality and tasty and the complimentary poppadoms a nice touch. The staff were friendly and very attentive.Following from a previous review about dirty toilets I took note, when I visited they were not dirty, maybe in need of a spruce up but certainly not dirty. On the whole a very enjoyable experience and weâll be visiting again.
