It is 110 miles (177 km) north-east of London, 38 miles (61 km) north-east of Ipswich and 22 miles (35 km) south-east of Norwich. It is situated on the edge of The Broads system and is the major settlement within the district of Waveney with a population of 71,010 in 2011.

Been here a few times now and tried a few different things from the menu. Always good quality well cooked and presented. Homemade burger are delicious. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Inside seating area is a nice touch to. Open at weekends aswell which is unlike most burger vans and cafes.

Good value if you order one of the set menu deals. Otherwise, this seems a little pricey, although portions are very generous to compensate. Food is good, although disappointed that sauce did not cover all of my dish (shredded beef) - a bit pedantic I know, but would have made a difference.

This is my nearest chippy, and the food is really good. Best Haddock I've had and you get so many chips, the birds end up having them as well.Wife has a spring roll and she says its very tasty, this time I had a couple of fish cakes, my mistake as they are huge. No complaints from me.

We love the Large Lamb shish kebabs...freshly griddled, tender lamb pieces and a pile of crisp salad, plus the ubiquitous pitta.We also alternate with a large Cod and Chips....again this is excellent. always freshly cooked, fresh flaky cod, crisp light batter.Served by a friendly team...we are lucky this is handy for us, when we have had a busy day.

Whenever I am back Lowestoft way I have to have fish and chips fresh from the coast. The fish was very good but it was the chips that made it as sometimes it is hard to marry the two i.e. naff chips but great fish or naff fish and great chips but this was all round delish!

This take away is reasonable in price, the food is very nice and the portions are quite generous. Delivery can be a bit of a wait (an hour+), collection is much quicker (30 minutes). As we were staying locally we decided to collect. There is parking right outside. If you google the take away, there is a link to the online menu (last years). Menu is quite extensive. We spent £37 on 1 starter, 4 mains, 2 large rice and 1 noodle. Not expensive at all. We received free prawn crackers, spring rolls and 2 deep fried chicken wings for free. It was a nice experience and would return if we are in the area again.

Were going to have lunch on the Pier then spotted Perrys up a side street. Glad we did. Spotless, simply furnished restaurant serving some of the best fish and chips we have tasted. The medium haddock was so fresh and the chips were delicious. Portions were huge and came complete with bread and butter and a mug of tea. Friendly and fast service, definitely with a smile. Don't be put off by the exterior, this place is a gem.
