We tried out this takeaway after not using it for quite sometime as our usual takeaway were on holiday. Very good polite service in this very tidy takeaway. The food was all still hot and very good when we arrived home, we enjoyed the salt and pepper chips better than my normal Chinese and the curry was nice and spicy a very good alternative, chips also tasted homemade.

I have been contemplating trying Street Food for some time, but I have been put off by the size of the place, knowing the catering business, but decided to take the plunge tonight and wish I hadn't.Ordered through JustEat and requested a delivery time of 1925, but to my suprise, the food had been delivered before we got home at 1855 and accepted by my flatmate who put it in the oven on low for me.The food itself was bland; hummus & garlic bread, the ribs were dry as were the lamb meatballs. The only thing that was OK were the chunky chips.Sorry, but I won't be back for seconds.

Called here while staying at South End Caravan Park, had read all the hype and thought it was worth a try. Shop was empty when we arrived, lots of staff all busy preparing orders for delivery. Options of cod or haddock, but cod had to be ordered or waited for, with a hungry granddaughter we chose the haddock. Very big fish in a fairly thin batter. Fish was lovely, chips were good and the peas were good too. Often peas are simply an afterthought, either tinned or a peculiar fluorescent colour. Will have to try the cod. A very large menu with kebabs and pizza too.

Having checked their website for offers and deciding to take advantage of the Monday-madness offer of 2 for the price of 1 deal, it was irritating that the member of staff dealing with takeaway orders did not know about nor was it on their menu/leaflets at the counter. Another member of staff eventually assisted and had heard of it so my order was placed. The pizzas took approx 15 minutes to arrive and were tasty.

Some places merely satisfy a hunger but there are also those that provide an experience you will never forget.Yungnein House is firmly in the latter category. This is the most authentic, high quality Chinese food you can get in the UK. It's worth a trip to Barrow just to sample the amazing delights served up in this modest but spectacular eaterie.Friendly staff who keep you amused whilst you wait and a huge range to choose from, this is a place you MUST visit if you want a gastronomic treat like no other.

Tried this for the first time using the Big Foodie website. Easy ordering process, food came earlier than estimated and was piping hot. Ribs really tender and tasty, salt and pepper chicken wings a big portion, meaty and tasty with loads of onion, chillies etc. Mains were tasty and good portions, you are given the option of âgoing largeâ on the order but the normal size is perfectly adequate. Will certainly be using them again.

Fish and Chip shops are one of those funny things, you get very used to your local one and when you visit another it tastes very different! The staff here are absolutely lovely and very helpful. All of the food was good but to me it did have a slight strange after taste and was quite oily (but as I said this is probably just as I am used to my local - not from the area!) the curry sauce was excellent. I would recommend a visit as it is very good value for money as well.
