Authentic Turkish restaurant in Leicester also LICENCED, we are proud to say that we are the biggest Turkish restaurant in Leicester, With over 20 years of experience. Also the same owner as ISTANBUL RESTAURANT ON NARBOROUGH ROAD.
This Turkish restaurant is not too far from home so we call in every so often. There's a nice range of starters and all sorts of kebabs and other delights (Turkish Delights!). It's not unduly expensive and the atmosphere is good. The staff are very friendly -- special mention for Annetta who expertly served us this week -- if perhaps a little quick off the mark. We've learned to ask for a break between starters and mains. We're looking forward to our next visit.Thank you for your review I will pass your review onto Aneta Kind regards Anna
Shakespeare,s house is a restaurant with very warm atmosphere, fine food and delicious desserts, we only one restaurant in a town who's got own bakery on a place and baking a fresh bread every morning to give u best quality brakefasts for everyday energy.
On the basis that I've been to Poland regularly over the years and grown to like polish cooking, we attended based on a recommendation. The transformation of the building has been impressive, with clear financial investment. It had a distinct feel of a traditional polish restaurant - brilliant. The menu - in my opinion, the menu was limited, which was a slight disappointment. I did feel that the price of some of the dishes were simply too expensive. The food - the food was incredible, which is probably the most important thing. It was clearly cooked from fresh, with everything seasoned to perfection. A complete thumbs up on this.Service - service was very pleasant and attentive, making us feel comfortable.Ambiance - the restaurant looks great inside, the lighting and wooden feel to the place is really nice. However, having a commercial radio station on wasn't something I appreciated. Perhaps some traditional or contemporary polish music would be fitting. To conclude, this place has huge potential if subtle changes are made. The price will certainly keep some people away and excludes the resident students around the area. In my personal opinion, would be that I would come every week if the prices dropped. I'd also like if the menu offered a little more variety.I want this restaurant to do well because it's great. I recommend this to everyone and I hope this review assists both the restaurant and the customers. All the best!

Welcome to Sapori! Benvenuti! âSaporiâ is Italian for âflavoursâ and this encapsulates the character of this authentic Italian family restaurant, run with passion and dedication. Situated in the heart of Anstey, Sapori is only 10 minutes drive from Leices
We have been coming to Sapori since its opening night and we think the food, service and ambience just gets better and better. Our dinner on Friday evening was excellent in every respect. We're delighted to see that the Good Food Guide listing has gone from being a 'Local Gem' to a full one with a cooking score. This is fully deserved. One of our party had eaten in another Good Food Guide restaurant the day before and declared his halibut on Friday far superior.Andrea uses the freshest ingredients and cooks with imagination and flair. Everything is beautifully presented and Luigi and the Team always make us feel so very welcome. If you're looking for somewhere really good to eat in this area, you cannot beat SaporiThank you so much for this kind review and for supporting Sapori along our journey over the last 8 years! It may interest you to know that we are also featured in the Michelin Guide 2020 for the first time. It really is a pleasure to look after knowledgeable and discerning customers such as yourselves.

Located in Thurlaston(7 mins from J21M1) and just 20 minutes south-west of Leicester city centre,Poacher"s is situated opposite a stunning Norman church right in the heart of this picturesque Leicestershire village. Our recently refurbished restaurant and
Met a couple of friends there to celebrate my wife's birthday and first impressions were really good as the place has a really nice atmosphere. Table booked for and we were seated at 8.40 - despite having the menu in the bar where perhaps they could have taken the orders so that starters could be ready when you sat down we took them with us and it was another ten minutes or so before the orders were taken. Starters took another quarter of an hour and the mains arrived at 10. That said when the food arrived it was perfect - the green chicken, duck and sea bass were wonderful but the star was the meat platter as a starter. generous portions to say the least. The place didn't seem over busy and I can't understand why everything was so slow. It took the edge off a lovely evening and that's the only reason I haven't given it 5*. Yes I would go back and would recommend it but with the proviso - be prepared to wait.

Enjoy a contemporary informal dining experience within a traditional country pub setting or just come for a drink in The Windmill Inn's relaxing bar atmosphere. Open Every Day Lunchtime and Evening (Restaurant closed Sunday evenings).
Four adults and a lively 15 month-old toddler on a wet and miserable Sunday afternoon. Good choice of food, great service and lovely food! Great atmosphere too as it was cheerfully busy! The starter and dessert were particularly good- better than pubs in the area usually offer. The main course was traditional Sunday lunch fare- what was very pleasing, however, was that when we asked for extra vegetables and gravy they were delivered straightaway! Very good value too. We will definitely go back! Xx
