We fancied something different for a change and had an unplanned visit to this restaurant. Having been to Poland before and family enjoyed the food there, we decided to give it a go and so glad we did. it is probably easily missed from outside ( you can't really see inside ) so more shy people would probably be sceptical to go in but dont get discouraged. Menu is full of good home cooking items, food that comes out of the kitchen is top quality and fresh ( loved the fresh salads served with main meals - great idea). Cocktails are slighlty different from what you are used to in English establishments but again top quality and not full of sugar as they can be so really enjoyed it. it is worth mentioning that portions are HUGE so maybe skip the starters . Prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get and service is very good. i would highly receommend this place and trying something different for a change ! well done guys.

The restaurant is the epitome of affordable glamour and sophistication, based in the newly built four star DoubleTree by Hilton in the city centre. To suit all tastes, the menu includes a mix of childhood favourites and modern day delicacies - ranging fro
we had dinner here on our way home ,we initially wanted chicken kiev but as the food would be cooked to order we settled on a burger blue cheese for my wife and just mayonnaise for me.The burgers were very good cooked just right and the fries were perfect. Again the deserts were delicious my wife highly recommends their twist on millionaires shortbread. the staff were attentive and friendly. Altogether a great place to eat.

We called for lunch after spending a day at The Deep. The restaurant is really nice inside and in a great location. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food i feel is overpriced, the kind of prices i would expect to pay if sat around a gorgeous marina abroad on an evening! The food was nice but not exceptional, the portion sizes were fair. Overall it was a nice experience but one we wouldn't repeat unfortunately.

Sleepers was established almost a decade ago and was one of the first of its kind on Newland Avenue. Tucked along side the railway bridge which gives the café bar its name âSleepersâ could just as easily refer to its laid back atmosphere for socializing a
Went for an impromptu lunch. Burger nicely presented with the extras added. Bit into it and nearly broke my teeth- it hadnât been cooked that day and was probably microwaved back to life. The more I tried to eat the harder it got. Shame because the rest of the meal was nice. My partner is a chef so gave it a hesitant thumbs up. The salad was a bit dry on their dish but otherwise ok. Chef must have changed as two years ago it was fab. Newland Avenue has changed ! Not for the better- lots of beggars to negotiate. Plenty of them huddled around the cash machine and beer outlets -intimidatingHi, Thank you for letting us know about your last meal with us. Our burgers are always cooked fresh on the day and never reheated, this goes against what we believe in as a company. We always encourage customers to let a staff member know of any issues so we can amend them straight away. Sorry to hear about your thoughts on Newland Avenue, hopefully as a community we can change this. Hopefully see you again soon

We have been coming to Level since it changed years ago always love the food i always noted the clean glasses..went on sunday and ordered chicken breast which we have most of the time must have had it 20 plus times ..it was very disappointing the appearance wasnt great and most of all the red cabbage and bacon was not there ..we both ate it but did mention to the waitress how bland it was and noticeable that the red cabbage was missing . I know it is only something small but it has made a big difference ..such a shame wont be ordering again. Hello there, firstly i would like to say thank you for your custom for so long its always our pleasure, we are terribly sorry that you feel disappointed with our new and improved chicken breast dish, we did used to serve it with red cabbage but our customer feedback from a lot of customers said it did not match with the dish very well so when we launched our new menu we decided to use seasonal vegetables instead of red cabbage and have received so many compliments.however please do visit again and im sure our team can help you choose a dish more suited to your palate, we look forward to seeing you again.

I went here with a group of friendsAnd was looking forward to it, The food itself was fine, average in flavour but filling, so no real complaints there. The thing that annoyed me was that I bought what is usually quite a cheap gin and tonic for £6.50 it came in a very small glass tumbler. I have been to other restaurants around Hull and paid slightly less, but have been greeted with a large gin glass full of ice and fruits. Just overall better presentation, which you would expect if you are paying £6.50Also, the Bill at the end puzzled us all, it was very hard to distinguish what we were actually paying for. And when my friend asked for the menu so we could work it out, the waitress rolled her eyes. She told us what we should be paying if we were splitting the Bill, and found it hard to understand that we wanted to pay for what we ate, as some had way more than others. This made us feel uncomfortable.

Went as a group of 4 couples. We had a variety of starters and mains, fish, steak, chicken dishes and vegetarian and everyone enjoyed their meals. Gin drinkers will be pleased with their gin menu. The restaurant is situated near the marina in Hull and there is plenty of parking outside their front door-its a 2 hour max zone up to 6.30pm, no restrictions after that). The bill averaged £40 per person which wasn't 't bad considering we all had 2-3 drinks along with the food. Recommended.Thank you very much for your nice review of our restaurant and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Very little atmosphere, in part due to the very bright lighting, the staff were friendly, but service was slow, surprising for a 7.00 booking. The food was far from authentic anything much, the kebab meat was like grizzled oily pellets, and the salad definitely past its best. A friend commented on portion sizes always being a bit mean during freshers week, she was right. I might try it again maybe, but I get the feeling the Hully Gullys are very easily pleased, or will eat anything dumped in front of them.

Gusto da Gianni is an authentic Italian restaurant serving only the best quality in imported Italian produce.
I had received some vouchers for my birthday in May and was the fist time we could do a weekend so a phonecall for an early sitting we looked and chose from the menu.garlic mushrooms and pate lovely. Tagliatelle and lasagne with the tomato garlic bread with pesto and potatoes went down well. No room for a sweet but very filling and well presented tasty food. Pitty as it is a fair way to go for us country bumpkins but we'll worth the trip
