Dropped in with my wife for a brew, late afternoon, we ordered and sat and were served promptly - I opted for a Tumeric Latte with Almond Milk and she opted for a tea. Fine and tasty. We checked out the Tripadviser ratings and reviews while we sat and could see the gist of the reports = not altogether good (citing poor service, dissatisfaction with orders etc etc).A lady near us appeared to wait 10 mins to get her order placed, it was then served promptly but was not cooked to her liking so she returned it, and another diner sent their order back as it was still frozen in the middle, apparently. Maybe they should read and address their own reviews.

At Quindici, we are proud to bring a taste of Italy to our local community of Loughton and beyond. We only ever source the finest ingredients from the most reputable suppliers on the market and are an independent restaurant run by two local families dedic
I treated my daughter in law to a birthday meal at Quindici. The food was very nice. My daughter in law was celebrating her 40 birthday and took a bottle of non alcoholic Prosecco to the restaurant. We were told that a charge of £15 would be for corkage. We explained it was a vey special birthday celebration and that she cannot have alcohol as sheâs pregnant. This was completely disregarded. We ordered a 3 course meal. When her dessert arrived there was no candle and then we were charged £12 on our bill for bringing our non alcoholic prosecco which this restaurant do not sell. We felt this was very disappointing customer service and very short sighted. We have been to other Italian restaurants in the area who said this was not a problem and no charge.Hello Thank you for your review Firstly I apologise if there was no candle on your daughters dessert, that should have been acknowledged by us and Iâm sorry we forgot to do so.Secondly , unfortunately we are a business of which our main aim is to earn money to survive , we cannot afford for customers to bring their own drinks and not buy ours. We donât offer non alcoholic Prosecco but we do offer other non alcoholic drinks, which I also advised you of on the evening. We sell Prosecco for £27 a bottle, so I felt charging a corkage of £15 for your NON alcoholic Prosecco was fair, considering the only other drinks you had were water..... You complained £15 was too much so I then took it upon myself to charge you less, £12 corkage. Iâm sorry that you feel itâs still unfair for my business to charge for drinks being brought onto a LICENSED premises (sole aim being to SELL products) and Iâm also sorry we are not the same as other restaurants you go to who do not charge corkage. Unfortunately my family and I need money in order to survive ....Kind regards James

Our menu draws it's influence from the Mediterranean (Greece, Portugal, Italy, Spain...) using Fresh quality ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.Whether you are wanting a quick simple lunch, meeting with business colleagues or planning a special
WOW, what an amazing day at the Olive Tree in Loughton Essex for our Mum's 80th birthday. From start to finish, Manos and his team were brilliant and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, from choosing our own menu to bringing in our own decorations and entertainer. Manos and the lady looking after us even joined in the dancing with our guests. The food was delicious, with good size portions and beautifully presented. The side room that was allocated to us for our party, was the perfect space for our Mum's 80th birthday. With a beautiful venue, superb service and tip top food, together with our own amazing singer and entertainer - FiL Straughan, our day was perfect in every way. Thank you to everyone for making it so special. xxx

The Blakes restaurant is a totally unique experience. The location and setting set it apart from the competition. The decor and fit out of the restaurant blends in with the overall theme of the building. Our restaurant is open for Sunday lunch, with the b

Established in 1679 as a coaching inn, The King's Head in Chipping Ongar is the oldest brick-fronted building on Chipping Ongar High Street. Named after King James II, who is believed to have stayed here during his reign, this Grade II listed building is
The venue itself is a pleasant local pub resataurant however I did find it falling below standards which is dissapointing. When serving you at the bar it would be nice if they were listening to you and not having a conversation elsewhere. Having to repeat your order several time and then NOT get your drinks order correct is a prime example. I also ordered two pizzas of which one was very burn't on the bottom and the other one had plastic in the food. This I got a refund for. If you want your Quiz nights supported .... support us with good service.Hi dcutts1,Thank you for your review. We're sorry your experience with us on Quiz Night did not reflect our usual high standards. We hope you will come back and give us another opportunity to provide a more pleasant experience.Kind Regards,Donal

Quore Matto is a family run Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Here at Quore Matto our fresh ingredients ignites the great passion we have to provide authentic Italian and Sicilian dishes. From the kitchen to service âour passion arouses throughout.
We were introduced to this restaurant by friends who live locally and have eaten there a few times. It certainly lived up to the recommendation! Starters were enjoyed, there was a good selection of wine by the glass and my all-time favourite dish was on the menu - calves liver in sage butter. Food was well cooked and well seasoned. We arrived in the restaurant quite early, so service was a little fussy, but I'm sure it would be less of an issue when the restaurant was busier. Overall a very nice Italian restaurant serving delicious food.

Following on from our very successful Hackney Pivaz, we are opening a luxurious, authentic Turkish restaurant on Epping High Street in June. With stunning décor and beautifully cooked, traditional Turkish food, Pivaz will bring a new lease of culinary lif
Pivaz is a very comfortable modern restaurant serving Turkish food. As a group 6 adults and 1 child we had a meal on a Saturday afternoon in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and is presented attractively on unique crockery. We had a variety of starters that included octopus, calamari, prawns all of which very fresh. For mains we had a variety of chicken, lamb, mixed, adana and beyti kebabs. The meat was so tender we decided they were the best kebabs weâve had for a long time. Our child meal was chicken kebab with real potato chips, delicious!!

An exquisite fine dining restaurant located on the outskirts of the charming market town of Epping and the beautiful Epping Forest. Haywards offers modern European cuisine across a range of menus - the great value set lunch menu available Thursday to Satu
A real delight. Kitchen skills, presentation and service are all excellent. Staff have been carefully recruited and very well trained. For us the dessert on the tasting menu was slightly out of balance (a little too heavy after 5 courses with extras, and the flavouring of thyme was a bit unsubtle) but overall a delightful meal carefully created, skilfully prepared and beautifully presented. Damn good chef and excellent front of house.Watch this space for further well deserved awards - a 3rd rosette must surely be overdue, and a star can't be far behind. Recommended.
