If I was walking back from the pub on a Friday night, very drunk this food would've been ok. But this time, I wasn't. This time I drove to the mayflower, sober, to take a char Sui mushroom fried rice home to my wife. It was bloody aweful. Hardly any meat, hardly any sauce. Just loads of fatty stuff in fried rice. The crows in our back yard loved it though.Pity as they were nice, friendly peoplePlease UP YOUR GAME!

We have been our Chinese take-aways from China Palance for many years. We find they have quite a varied menu which you can try the dishes over time. The dishes were reasonably good and served hot in the standard take-away silver foil containers and we always get a compliment bag of prawn crackers.We usually telephone for our order and ask for an estimate delivery time as it can vary on week nights to week-ends which can be quite busy for them and some times it can take up to an hour on a busy Saturday evening. We use this Chinese regular. Food is always cooked fresh while you wait so u do need patience but in my opinion it's worth it. Every Chinese meal you get a free can of pop which pleases the kids! Plenty of chips in a portion for £1.20.

We use this takeaway all the time. Excellent dishes. Curries are always rich, thick, tasty and full of flavour. Black bean sauce dishes are just as good. Special Egg Fu Yung and Omelettes are really nice. Chow Mein is great. Special Fried Rice is spot on. Quality ingredients and lots of them. No watery sauces here. Never disappointed with taste or quality.

Arrived as a per usual you get ignored! Stood in the queue and then regulars think itâs ok to push in front and get served the second they walk through the door! Only been a few times since moving to the area and this will be my last!!! Walked and and went else where was served instantly!

Ordered food online using their website. This offered delivery approx 45 minutes later and so I went with this option.I appreciate that deliveries are sometimes 10 mins or so late and so I waited 25 mins past the due time before chasing it to be assured it was on the next delivery.Another 1/2 hr I ring again and asked had it even left the takeaway. As expected it hadn't.I did remind them I was assured it would be on the next delivery. Only to be told that was still the case, when that delivery actually goes out.At this point I would happily have told them where they could shove their food but I had already pre-paid for it. I did what I should have in the first place and went and collected it.Having finally got my food it was actually very good and I really enjoyed it. Had this rating been on food alone I would prob have given 5 stars.

I have had a delivery before and the food was nice, I only ordered chicken fried rice and it got delivered without any fuss. However this time I called and I had to repeat my order 4 times with the woman on the phone asking me to repeat after the 4th time of me speaking clearly she just hung up! I called back and a man answered and took my order but wouldn't deliver even though they have done before for the same order saying I hadn't spent enough! Will never again use!

Ordered via JustEat for delivery which was delivered ten minutes quicker than their confirmed time.Food was lovely and portions were quite big. We ordered the crispy shredded duck and prawn toast. The prawn toast was quite oily and wasnt very good to be honest.The duck on the other hand was fantastic. We also ordered a kids meal for my little one which was brilliant and nearly enough a full sized portion !!! Prices were quite expensive, but are probably cheaper when not ordering via Just Eat.

Don't often have a chippy tea as usually not very good but decided to try Golden Dinner for the first time since it reopened.Very impressed,my husband had fish which was large and crispy,nice change from usual sloppy batter.I had vegetables with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.A good selection of fresh veg and chips were excellent.Staff were friendly and pleasant and the meal came very quickly.We shall be returning.

Went for meal with a friend on 4th May. Amazing service throughout the evening and what delicious food. Main course was delicious and choice of desserts were to die for. I look forward to returning again in the near future and will certainly recommend the Eastern delight to all of my friends and family.
