Four of us had Sunday lunch here. Booking essential. Easy parking, Easy access. A warm welcome. The roast dinners were freshly cooked and of good quality. Vegetables served in dishes for each individual diner - always a plus for us! The knickerbocker glory was unconventional, being served with a layer of custard as well as cream. Bread and butter pudding served in hearty portions, and still my favourite dessert here.

We have no paper menu, as we offer daily changing salads and dishes using seasonal local produce, inspired by our South African heritage. daily speciality cakes are made in house, to go along with our artisan coffee, roasted by a micro roaster, also local
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Home made south African food, friendly staff and a gorgeous little cafe.I had the babotie and my partner had chicken and apricot skewers. Both were so different to anything I'd ever eaten and I have immediately gone home to try a recreate it. It was crazy flavoursome and the meat was falling apart. Beautiful! Thank you.

We returned to this cafe after having previously had a good meal. The menu is quite varied and a couple of specials are offered,I opted for my usual full English and wifey had a prawn sandwich. Both were excellent quality and of a good size. One little niggle is that my plate was cold which does not help hot food. The two hard working staff needed some help as a few people came in after us an quite rapidly a wait for food developed. This was a shame as the two people were trying hard.Given that the food was so good we will be returning.

The Touching Souls Tea Room is a small tea room in the Visitor Centre at Tewkesbury Abbey. We serve home made Soup and a roll, freshly made sandwiches, home made cakes and hot and cold drinks.
We visited for afternoon tea one Sunday. The volunteers were friendly and helpful and there were a lot of them! The cafe was rather crowded and as a consequence of the wooden floors somewhat noisy. However we found a table without too much difficulty and the scone with jam and cream was goodThe cafe is only open for rather limited hours each day so it is worth checking before planning a visit.Cheque and cash payments only.Very competitive prices.

Martyn and Mandy Crump would like to welcome you to their traditional 16th Century Eating House. Having served the public since 2001, this family run business prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients to produce home cooked, traditional meals alo
Wow we had chosen the hottest day of the year (or perhaps since records had been kept) to make our first visit to Crumpets. It is barely noticeable from the outside - just a very small frontage with a wisteria and a couple of tables and chairs for those wanting to stay in the sun. Lovely and cool inside and a surprisingly wide choice on the menu. There were many snacks but also on the Specials Board a red wine lamb pie and a Quiche Lorraine. We chose these two and also two salads for our companions. Coronation Chicken and Prawn Salad were very refreshing and substantial. We spent a very pleasant hour or more and reluctantly had to postpone sampling the delicious looking desserts board until a cooler occasion. All in all very enjoyable - so much so that we returned a week later bringing a neighbour for a mid week treat. Also very affordable.

Decided to come here for breakfast, and not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My husband had scrambled eggs, pancetta, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes whilst I had poached eggs, spinach, and salmon. Very good sized portions and really tasty. Really nice to be able to take our dog Molly as well. They also have a lovely garden at the back, well worth a visit, highly recommend.
