Cosy and quirky family run tea room with homebaked cakes, refreshing loose tea's and freshly prepared food
My birthday afternoon was delicious, you really can't fault this unique little tearoom. On entering you don't know we're to look great decor on Alice in wonderland theme. Sandwiches are lovely & fresh a good selection of old favourites the scones are served warm & are amazing, sponge cakes beautiful & light great tasting loose leaf tea( choice of coffee ) service and staff are wonderful. What we couldn't eat they bagged up for us to enjoy at home. Myself my three Daughters & Granddaughter have had a lovely experience at this delightful tearoom. Not forgetting that they service a children's afternoon tea great idea. Will definitely return

The Soup Kitchen, at the top of Church Lane overlooking St Maryâs Church, has been run by the Sandy family for over thirty years. We pride ourselves on our freshly cooked food and are so flattered that folk keep coming back time and time again to visit us
Went there for afternoon tea on Saturday and as always nothings changed , the whole experience was amazing the staff are always cheerful and happy to help ,we have tried others but there is no comparison to the best THANKYOUMore and more folk are taking afternoon tea here with us Mike and I am so pleased that you found it all 'amazing' when you came in on Saturday. To deem us to be the best - with no comparison - has made my day and thanks for writing that, and indeed for rating us so highly on here. As an aside we have just commissioned a private room upstairs and already it has been booked for an afternoon tea party which I gather was a great success. I sincerely hope that you will continue to visit us.Kind regards from Duncan Sandy and all who help me here at The Soup Kitchen.

Called in for lunch while working in Stafford. Lovey cafe, very friendly and welcoming, great service and good food.
Set in the historical canal town of Stone, Fleur Tea Rooms has provided a friendly welcome for over 13 years. A wide range of drinks including loose leaf teas, coffees and Belvoir beverages. Homemade cakes are made at the tea room daily, along with soups,
Have been a few times, and enjoyed the loose -leaf tea. Last couple of times, less tea has been put in the pot, making it too weak. Not reflected in the price. Doors on the way to the loo could do with a clean, as they are quite grubby.

Have past this venue on numerous occasions but never stopped. Project is to assist those with learning disabilities. There are plants for sale together with a tea shop.
The afternoon tea was lovely. There was a nice deletion of scones , sandwiches and cakes. The service was nice and quick. The food was so lovely we demolished it in less than half! Will definitely return as itâs so lovely and local. Would definitely recommend.

BEAR is an independent coffee house, kitchen and bar situated in a beautiful ex-bank building on Stone High Street. We serve speciality coffee, fresh food, cocktails and craft beer.
We went yesterday for a bottomless prosecco brunch, four of us. We pre-booked for 11am. The food was delicious, I ordered the shakshuka and it was heavenly and came with ample sourdough toast. My friends all had the Bear Breakfast which they enjoyed. Only comment is that they don't have baked beans on the menu, a staple of British breakfasts! Not that it would stop me going again, just a small observation. The food arrived quickly after ordering, it only took about 10 minutes. I had expected our glasses to be topped up by staff when we were empty, however that was not the case; we were left a bottle on the table to help ourselves which staff swapped in good time when it was empty. Service was friendly and the place is nice inside. I'd certainly return (hoping to repeat the experience) and would recommend to others.Hey Katy,Thanks for the lovely review! I'm so glad that you had a wonderful time with us - bottomless Prosecco brunch is the best way to spend a Sunday, especially if shakshuka's involved! :DIt's great to hear that you all enjoyed your food and the team looked after you so well too!Hope to see you again very soon :)Best wishes,Hattie
