Visited as walk ins on a whim, started with excellent flat white coffees and had a salmon and a chicken salad which were Jorge delicious and generously sized. Coffees so good we had a second round. Lovely cafe with friendly service!

Since the Broomwagon closed Retford needed a decent cycling cafe and this place is perfect. Itâs a bit cosy when thereâs a few of us but thereâs also room to sit outside. The main thing is the food...great. The service...friendly. And the price...good value.Breakfast butties are spot on.Cakes are always good.Coffee is as good as anywhere else.Plenty of room for the bikes too & a TV to keep up to date with whatâs going on.Great place.

Torworth Grange Farm Shop, Café Restaurant and Lakes. Based in Nottinghamshire, our beautiful setting lends itself to a lovely day out for all the family. Our Farm Shop stocks a great range of fresh produce, from meat and vegetables to bread and cakes, as
Even though Torworth Grange is very much local to me this is my first visit. I'm really impressed. The setting is picturesque with a nice little play area to keep a active 2yr old happy( they even have indoor toys) with spacious swatting inside and out. The service is quick and the staff are all very friendly and chatty. The food is well priced( mid ranged) and of a good quality, it's certainly a ploughman's lunch I would recommend with cheese a-plenty, washed down with a decent pot of tea! The children's portions are equally generous. As a note, the changing facilities are great. My little one is pretty much loo trained but they have reserve stocks of nappies/wipes in the baby changing which I though for a parent's point of view was a really nice touch, and first time I have seen it done.I will certainly be returning

Whenever we visit Retford we usually call in here for dinner. You get a good meal at a reasonable price and there's plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and the manageress is especially chatty. This is not fine dining but your average cafe. It's clean and spacious serving your usual traditional meals. It really is worth a visit. I'm lead to believe it turns into a pizza place in the evening.

I have been to the Drawing Room on several occassions, having taken my Sister in Law for lunch recently. The standard never changes the meals are well prepared and well presented, The staff are well presented and friendly, The prices are a little on the high side, however the quality of food reflects this. One thing that impresses me, you are always offered a refill of coffee at no extra charge. The room has a good atmosphere, no clanging of china or tables left uncleared. I would definitely recommend. The only downside is the room is upstairs, could be a problem if one is less abled.

Called in here for breakfast and coffee it was a lovely change to find somewhere music isnât blaring out. It was really peaceful and a nice setting at the side of the canal. Lovely coffee. My husband had the vegetarian breakfast and I had the scrambled eggs both were very tasty. Two breakfasts and two coffees came to just under £20 but well worth it for the peace and quiet.

We were a family of three adults, one child. We made our choices and ordered drinks.Whilst waiting for the food we were told they had no baked potatoes left...this was about 1pm....so,another dish was chosen, but we asked why more potatoes could not have been purchased and prepared...the café IS right by the market !!! Several minutes later we were told they had no muffins...so another family member had to re-consider their chosen lunch. On reflection we ought to have cancelled the order, there and then, and walked away. When the food did arrive it was a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. The child with us had chosen beans on toast and the toast was on the verge of being BURNT and the prawn salad I had chosen was,in essence,NOT a salad, just a bowl of the bagged lettuce from a supermarket, with half a slice of chopped cucumber and about 2oz's of prawns slathered in sauce.I was greatly disappointed, this was NOT A SALAD by any stretch of the imagination. For the prices being charged we expected far better.I suppose the initial problems, with our choices, ought to have alerted us to the inept running of this primely located café.It does not deserve patronage until it realises it can offer ,and properly serve, what is listed on the menu.Yes,the staff were friendly...but it appeared to be being run by 'Saturday Workers' not responsible owners. Our choice to stay there was regretable.

We are a friendly deli/cafe that offers real honest food, cooked fresh to order in our kitchen. We are known for our friendly staff and great quality food and deli made cakes and our signature scones. We have a large deli counter where we serve over 30 ch
Had afternoon tea with a friend on my first visit to Retford, she suggested this venue. I'm pleased that she did, we had an amazing afternoon tea, plenty of delicious food and plenty of tea..... would definitely go back again as the food, service and price were excellent.Thank you for your kind review of Deli & Dine Nicky. We are happy that you both had an enjoyable meal and hope to see you back again soon.

I visited this cafe last week for a salad as the majority of shops in Retford offer pre-made unspecific salads. I was pleased that there was a slight hint of Turkish ethnicity to the cafe itself and usually find Turkish chefs to be excellent. I ordered a chicken and crispy bacon salad and was surprised at the size of this (although it did cost £6) which meant that I could save half for the next day (in effect costing me £3 per lunch). Good for âproper cafeâ lunches and breakfasts. A little pricey if you can eat a large salad in one go! Tesekkur ederim!

My daughter booked the glasshouse for her daughters christening meal. There were 30 guests and we had sandwiches and tea and cakes which were very good. The owner at one point picked up my granddaughter so my daughter could eat her food the food and staff were excellent.
