Great little coffee/tea shop with lovely warm cream teas. Did great milkshakes for the kids. All of the cakes are home made. Would highly recommend a visit. What a lovely review of our cream teas! Thank you so much! We really appreciate it. It took me 4 months to get the scones as perfect as I could. Small café situated on South Quay, next to the old Railway Station House, in Padstow. Serving breakfasts, lunches and snacks at great value. Open Mon - Sat from 8.00 am. Slightly different menu on Mondays. All food cooked to order using quality, locally s
Had breakfast here on out annual visit to Padstow. The breakfast is simply delicious and the extra care taken to ensure each separate ingredient is perfectly cooked is amazing. I am so impressed with the cleanliness of the kitchen area and the chef. Itâs fantastic value and the coffee is very good. I look forward to seeing you next October.

We all enjoyed our meals, burger, pizzas and fish and chips whilst overlooking Polzeath beach on a sunny evening. Unfortunately the table next to us chain smoked throughout the majority of our meal taking away the fresh outdoor pleasure of alfresco dining.Surely there should be smoke free outside areas nowadays especially where people are eating.Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Iâm pleased to hear you enjoyed your meals here at TJâs. itâs unfortunate the table smoking next to your party had a negative effect on your enjoyable experience. Myself or my team would have been happy to resolve the issue by offering an alternative table or speaking to the table directly. We always hope guests wishing to smoke are conscientious and considerate to other diners and if any issues such as this arise we are always happy to offer assistance. We hope to see you again soon. Many thanks,Dan.General Manager.

Cafe in Wadebridge doing coffee tea milkshakes smoothies teacakes cream teas cakes and food on the platt next to spar shop
Just been this afternoon (26.07.2019). With it being the last full day of our holiday, we decided it would be the perfect time to go out and look for a place to try our very first CORNISH CREAM TEA and we are so glad we decided to choose and come to this lovely, quaint place. The cafe is beautifully decorated and it really does make you feel like you have entered Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter's party place. I'm more a coffee person than a tea person but was so glad I stuck to having tea with my Cornish Cream Tea as it went down grandly with everything. The scones were served warm and it was just so light, fluffy and absolutely delicious with the jam ("it's JAM first in Cornwall!") and clotted cream. It was heaven on a plate! The owner (we assume she was the owner) and her staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. Loved every second we were there. You need to visit this place when in Wadebridge. My husband was eyeing the Victoria Sponge Cake. I think he'd have ordered a slice if he still had some space in his tummy for it as it looked divine, too. Would come back if ever we are in the area again. Thank you.

Me and my other half visited The Sisters last month in Port Isaac and stopped for a coffee and a chat. These two make the most amazing coffee which can be enjoyed in all kinds of weather! They both really care about what they do and their passion for coffee and it shows in their smiles and kindness. We will continue to visit whenever we can!Hi Gemma,Thank you so much for your lovely comment!! Hope to see you both soon again for a coffee and a cake with our amazing view (if you lucky with the weather:))Much love,Klara & V

Visited here this morning after landing from Manchester. Big warm friendly greeting from Kevin (I might have the name wrong) who is such a welcoming bloke, also very entertaining all the way through breakfast. It's a well known fact that fisherman can spin a yarn, well as a Cornish man you're never far from the sea, and with a history of ex navy then you've got a good chance of being an expert on yarns. Kevin has got the art of story telling down too a T. Worth just dropping in for a coffee and chat with Kevin to hear how proud he is of his and his family achievements, such a genuine bloke. But don't just get a coffee, get something to eat as well. I had a small breakfast and it was ever so tasty, plus a decent cup of coffee these set me up for the day. If you want to chop and change anything on the breakfast then that wasn't too much trouble either. You can eat outside or in, but note it is a roadside cafe and there is passing traffic. It doesn't look like your standard roadside cafe, it's been prettier up a bit. You can also take away if you want. If you fancy some decent grub and enjoy some friendly local banter, this is your place to go.

A trip to Cornwall wouldnât be complete without a crab sandwich so gave this little cafe a try and couldnât of hoped for better. We sat outside with our dogs and received table service from a very friendly and chatty waitress. The sandwiches were very tasty and had a nice selection of drinks to accompany them, the only negative would be it was a tad expensive but hey itâs worth supporting small local businesses. Well worth a visit! Love from Cheese and Ham and The Crabettes ;-)

A Vintage Tea Room and Takeaway, specializing in cream teas, scones, meals and drinks, centrally located in Port Isaac, known by Doc Martin fans as Port Wenn, near the Old School House Hotel on the main street in town. The shop is lovingly decorated with c
We attempted to visit this cafe today around 3pm and we were immediately greeted with a statement from a staff member, spoken loudly in front of the other diners, that we could only have tea and cake as lunches have stopped or âwe would be open all day!!âWe only wanted a cream tea, but we were never asked what we wanted and we left - in our opinion the style of customer service was rude and abrasive and I am aware other reviews that highlight other occasions when that attitude of staff was poor and/or unacceptable We will never use this cafe and I would advise other visitors to Port Isaac that there are many other options for refreshments in the village..... just keep walking.

We had a fabulous time in Port Issac and can highly recommend this B&B. It is located in easy walking distance of the village of port Issac made famous as the location where they film Doc Martin. Steve welcomed us warmly and helped us park right outside. He then showed us to our room and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. The room was very clean and modern. It was at the back of the house and extremely peaceful with possibly the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. There was plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room with a supply on the landing if we wanted more. Breakfast was full English with all the trimmings plus a selection of cereal fresh fruit and yogurt. Oh and the tea was real not bags which is a rare find but much appreciated. Overall a great example of a B&B run by a friendly couple who have got everything right.

Old Chapel converted into small cafe plus lots of items for sale such as handbags, clothes, vases, lamps, jewellery to name but a few. Tables quite cramped together on only half of the ground floor as other half plus all the upstairs were goods to buy. Did note a vase at £500! We waited rather a long time to be served before we were noticed but the servers were very friendly. We were going to have lunch, but found it very overpriced I.e. jacket potato with prawns £10! Soup £6.50.We settled for coffee and shortbread...the shortbread was ok but quite thick and soft...am sure I detected a hint of lemon in it which I am not keen on.Dogs are allowed in, but if each table had a dog then it would be even more cramped.Disappointing overall, for us.
