On our annual trip to Gloucester we always visit this beautiful cafe. Service is excellent and the food is so tasty. We had soups and quiche and salad. Itâs worth walking past the other eateries to make a bee line to this place. We even brought soup home with us which was no mean feat carrying it around all afternoon!

Our first visit to the narrow boat and it certainly wonât be the last. The most delicious cakes were on offer this morning, the chocolate brownie was beautiful. Plenty of options on the menu both sweet and savoury (locally sourced too I believe...) with a wide range of drinks. The cafe is very well priced too.Child friendly, which is always a bonus! The two lovely ladies who were there this morning were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Will definitely return soon, thank you!

To be re located... temporary Out of business... coming soon... thanks to all our regular customers.. kindly keep in touch
Came here for lunch. We were very impressed with the choices available, lots of choice especially for vegetarians. It is a bit confusing whether you order at the till or sit down and wait for your order to be taken.I had the Falafel and houmous salad, the Falafel were very good, however the dressing on the salad tasted like salad cream and was unnecessary as there was hummus. The service was very hit and miss, we ordered a diet coke and coffee when we arrived we assumed they would arrive with the meal, but only got these when we reminded the waitress at the end of the meal.It did look like the waitress was new as a number of orders seemed to be going wrong.

I use Peppers on an infrequent basis but everytime I've been there the food has been of a very high quality. I also enjoy their selection of beers, ciders and perries. Peppers are also a great supporter of the Gloucester Blues Festival and the ambience of the small venue just adds to the experience.

The Tea room is a very popular addition to the garden centre, it has been constructed in stylish up-cycled, industrial retro design, using individual pieces to create a unique space for customers too enjoy their refreshments. Luke Newson owns and operates
The setting alone has brought us back time after time for years, but for a while this terraced garden centre in Birdwood seemed to have closed. But re-invented as Leaf, there has been a transformation, and since rediscovering a favourite spot we have been back countless times over the past couple of months. The Japanese Acers that grace the entrance are to found throughout the gorgeous terraces and there is the feel of a well thought out and beautifully designed interior and exterior. (I could sit for hours on the comfy sofa reading the good selection of gardening books...)We lunched yesterday with rain threatening, but we braved the elements secure under the giant parasols. Coffee was excellent in the mugs they introduced recently. (We need mugs - older hands struggle to hold the handles of cups!, They found some for us on an earlier visit - they listen to their customers - so, now there are mugs...)The lunch we had was quickly served, generous in size and quite delicious. The staff are lovely throughout and ready to stop for a chat and a laugh and a great deal of useful information. On leaving you will be struck by the extraordinary views from the car park - and you know you'll be back.

My wife and I called here after a recommendation from the Waterways Museum. It is situated in a quirky and colourful lane that leads to Gloucester's magnificent cathedral.Fairly small and slightly old fashioned but brimming with great eats and drinks. Also the gentleman (Kevin?) serving customers proved to be charming, cheerful and friendly.Great coffee and cakes! Child friendly too. Highly recommended.
