Food regularly over cooked and left baking / drying out under hot lamps. Rubber sausages. Rubber bacon. Rock hard eggs. Dirty plate and cutlery. Staff didn't appear to be bothered at all about anything at all. The only positive is they are consistent, consistently poor!
Small friendly place to partake refreshments just of the main town centre with ample short term parking nearby

I have always enjoyed my weekly visit to the cafe within the garden centre but today was shocked to be informed, after asking for extra hot water for my tea (I don't like it too strong), that it would now cost an extra 50 pence - guess who won't be going back. Whatever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE. Is this a shot in the foot??

Fantastic setting just off the busy main road in Tintwistle ! Very friendly staff and quite an extensive menu . Feel though the place could do with a little TLC . Selection of ice creams was limited and personally I feel the owners could make so much more of the place . Very relaxing environment to have a coffee and a cake .

Only went in for coffee & scone both were nice but nothing exceptional. Surprised at mediocre welcome especially when there are several good coffee shops in Glossop. This was our first visit and there were only two other tables occupied but it appeared hard work for the lady behind the counter to respond to our cheerful âgood morningâ to her upon entering. Also same unfriendly attitude when serving our coffee. Obviously caught her on an off day !Needless to say didnât leave a tip and wonât be in a hurry to visit again.Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience at Pepino Deli did not meet expectations- especially with customer service being the main factor. Although we donât consider ourselves to be in competition with any other coffee shop we are disappointed that you have had a negative experience with us and would like to put it right. Drop us an email at [email protected] and you can have coffee and cake on us.

We have been twice now and sampled the beans on toast, pies and cakes, all excellent. The owners are lovely and helpful. The hot drinks are great and the setting is perfect.

I love Dukes. Easily my favourite breakfast/lunch place in Glossop. I've lived here for a while now, and have probably tried every cafe at least a few times, abs this place is easily, consistently the best. Cheers Dukes.

Stopped off on my way home via snake pass. Fantastic little place, independent and well run. They bake their own bread and the coffee is wonderful. The butternut squash soup with roasted garlic was delicious, along with croissant and mushrooms and feta. Great little place, fresh ingredients used, great price, love that theyâre independent. The only thing I would say as a 1st time visitor, is that I didnât know whether to sit down, be seated or to order at the counter first, and the staff left me at the counter for a good 2-3 minutes while they did other things. A simple greeting with âtake a seat or âIâll be right with youâ would go a long way but other than that, theyâre a great place + highly recommended.

Lovely friendly welcome to the place. The staff are very helpful. Ordered a full breakfast, and a latte. The latte arrived and was obviously a just add water to a powdered packet drink. Artificially sweet and gritty. The breakfast was presented well, however thatâs as good as it got. The bacon was so dry, you couldnât cut it, it just shattered as you put the fork in. The sausages were anemic, and didnât taste of anything. Surprised if they were more than 5% meat! The mushrooms were super greasy. Very disappointing as this is billed as the No1 restaurant in Glossop!!! Really?!Will not be returning.
