Reviews on Cafe food in Glastonbury, England, United Kingdom. Generally a quiet place graced with lovely terrain for strolling, Glastonbury is very busy in the summer because of its music festival. Best known for contemporary music, the festival has attracted almost 200,000 people in recent years (whereas Glastonbury's full-time population is only 9,000 or so). There are a number of historical monuments to see in the area, including Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and the Somerset Rural Life Museum. We can't say that the weather is always good, but on a sunny day you can't go wrong!

I sell home made sandwich sand salads all interlinked with fresh herbs. Each sandwich and salad contains different herbs with information about the benefits of that herb to your body. I also make my own bread.
Absolutely charming! Freshly made bread, tasty, flavourful fillings and good value. They look good for you too! No plastic feel here, all home made to order.Hint of herb is conveniently accessible from the main car park and instantly appeals, with the herbs growing on the window ledge. The proprietor Alison was very pleasant and has obviously worked very hard to start this new venture. My two old school pals and I wish her luck in this, her first year.I'm sorry Alison, my photo of you from outside of the shop didn't come out, too much shadow!Thank you so much, lovely people like you are always welcome, would be lovely to see you again, blessings to you

I have visited this establishment many times over the years and we often pop into the cafe upstairs. Lovely down to earth lady who makes some wonderful cakes, with the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted ( and I don't usually like chococlate cake!)Cheapest coffee in town as well. Love it!

Stopped here on a family trip to Glastonbury. Only three tables were occupied at the time. Was served straight away but the lady taking orders could not find a copy of their children's menu. After waiting an age my husband's food arrived , the remaining meals came 15 minutes later by his time my husband had ate his food alone. Jacket potatoes were hard and my son's fish fingers were stuck together like a deformed hand !! Trying to pay the bill was another chore . The server could not use the iPad to add up the bill and it took 10 minutes of waiting to leave the cafe !! Would not recommend.Iam truly sorry to read that your visit to Glastro Cafe was disappointing. The lady who served you and your family only works on occasions to help out. I will ensure that more training is given along with my support. It would not have been nice for all the family not to have eaten together and I apologise for this and understand your review. Please rest assure this will be addressed in order that we can provide a good service to all our customers.

Our Bed and Breakfast suggested Hundred Monkeys to us and I'm so glad they did! We both ordered the lentil bolognese and it was honestly the best I've tasted. The kale pesto on the top was also delicious. Lovely, friendly staff too. Will definitely be back!

Great breakfasts (served all day), lunch and afternoon meals.
Came here yesterday for some food. Tried the thai salmon burger and sweet potato fries. Was absolutely lush. My son had the burger, and the chips were awesome. They are huge and fluffy! Staff very friendly, vool vibe, will definitely return if I'm ever in Glastonbury again.

This traditional tea rooms is situated opposite the famous Abbey and looks onto the bustling and unique centre of Glastonbury. The place is warm and friendly with a great selection on the menu. The menu ranges from freshly cooked breakfasts to light lunch
You know that feeling when all you want is a Sunday Roast? Well today we were just about to leave Glastonbury (which does all things vegan and veggie very well) and feeling almost guilty for wanting meat, we came across Abbey Tea Rooms, 4.30ish on a Sunday and you wouldnât expect a) to be successful or b) to be that lucky but they were awesome. We had very tasty chicken and a good selection of veg and lashing of gravy. Everything we wanted...and we even had a pudding. Oh my goodness the puds were naughty and simply delicious. So I had no change for a tip and so I promised instead a review, this I do with no reservation. The staff were all friendly and attentive and our search for Sunday Roast was not just complete but it was also very very good. Weâll be back and will definitely recommend. Thanks Abbey Tearooms you are stars

We are a family run business of over 30 years. All our food is Home Made in our kitchens with the best quality ingredients, ethically and locally sourced where possible.
We popped in for mid morning drinks and cake. None of the cakes were priced that I could see. We opted for a flapjack which was ok and a slice of summer berry cake - large portion but tasteless other than the home made jam and at well over £4 a slice was some of the most expensive cake I have ever had. The coffee was average. We would not return.
