The range of food has diminished. There are excellent jams and cakes but no longer fresh, chilled food which is a pity as the local ingredients were great. I hope they will extend the range of food on offer to make it worth a visit. At the moment unless one was shopping at the Leekes Store or eating in the excellent Farmers Fayre Restaurant it wouldn't be worth visiting just for the Farmers Fayre Farm Shop.On the positive I am pleased you still find our restaurant worth visiting in Leekes store, unfortunately we are in the process of moving the farm shop element for a variety of reasons beyond our control. Do not fear we still use the lovely local products in the restaurant and will continue to showcase some products in the restaurant area.We hope to see you again soon :)

This coffee shop offers a wide range of cakes and so forth, remarkable for a cafe in a local neighborhood. Coffee and cookies were good. The cafe was bustling and busy, and therefore a little noisy. Went to this place a day ago for breakfast , and it was better than expected. Me and my partner had the Turkish breakfast which was really good. Portion are large, and prices are very decent. Let me start by saying the place itself is quite quirky and the staff are very friendly.However, I wasnât blown away by the food. I ordered a ham and cheese ploughman and was quite disappointed that I had to construct my own sandwich. Would have preferred for it to have already been prepared. Nevertheless, each component on the board was nice, the chutney in particular was quite different (in a good way) to any chutney that I have had before. The bread was slightly too âbreadyâ though, it was almost like trying to eat a door stop once I loaded the ham, cheese and chutney onto it. To which I donât think it was really worth the price. I couldâve purchased a pack of ham, cheese, bread and chutney from the supermarket for less and made a whole load of sandwiches - which I would also have to construct myself. One other thing that annoyed me was the copious amounts of wasps landing on me and my food constantly. If you have a fear or allergy to wasps I wouldnât really recommend staying around for too long. I had to leave some of my food as wasps kept landing on it, they seemed to be everywhere. Although it was quite amusing watching people jump from their seats. If youâre visiting the garden centre I would say that you could order a nice snack from here but thatâs as far as I would go. Probably nice for a tea and cake (but I didnât get to try this as I wanted to get away from the wasps, so canât give any full comments on this). Hi HollyJL,I'm sorry your ploughman's wasn't as you expected. We serve a more traditional style ploughman's, more of a platter for which I'm glad you enjoy all the individual components especially our homemade real ale chutney. We pride ourselves on having a flexible menu with our ethos being if we have the ingredients you can have them any way you like. With this in mind we will happily create a ploughman's sandwich which would be priced accordingly. In regards the wasps, we are trying our best to control them(we will be wasp deferring experts by the time the summers over). However, we are in a garden centre and unfortunately eliminating them completely will never be a possibility. We hope to see you again soon and hope that you can enjoy our flexible menu and maybe even try our homemade cake.

We came here for breakfast after reading great reviews and the experience certainly didnât disappoint! The food was superb - hot, tasty and fresh and it was lovely to watch it all being cooked by the extremely talented Tony. Great vibe here, would love to return for a gourmet evening meal.
