This is a proper cafe, your typical greasy spoon and sometime you just need a decent fry up. If you don't fancy a fry up, they do really good jacket potatoes, salads, lasagne and greek food. Good prices, quick service, and the staff get to know you and happy to share jokes etc. Great team, great food, great prices!

My husband took me here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon.When we arrived it wasnât busy, so managed to find a seat and place our food order without any issues. It was lovely as we were able to talk as well as listen to background music, which is unusual as some venues you canât hear yourself think.When the food arrived, it was hot and a really good portion.I would love to come more often, but unfortunately you canât have children in the bar area, they can only sit outside which is not great, as our children are young, the only other option is to book the main restaurant, but it doesnât have the same atmosphere.

what a day we were an hour late due to traffic on a40 boris in ruislip and a parade at polish memoral but natalie and christine who run the venue held everything together and calmed eveybody down from then on everthing went more or less to plan.food 3course meal my only complaint beef was a bit tough everything else exellent.dj did a exellent job and looked like he had a goodnight as well.stayed the night in family room clean and comfy welcoming after a long day.summing up the phone has not stoped everybody says the location,the staff,the food accomadtion for those who stayed 5star.as father of the bride i would like to thank christin,natalie,allthe staff for a exellent day after a bad start rating for me 10/10 thank you so very much

Ordered the half English, service was pleasant and efficient and quick. The breakfast was substantial with the rustic bread and roasted baby tomatoes on the vine in place of the ubiquitous grilled half tomato added a nice touch. Everything was freshly cooked and well presented.Highly recommendThank you for your kind words. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your breakfast with us. Family get together recently. Martin and Laura couldn't do enough for us as a group. The welcome was lovely, the food incredible - from a large group with most of the orders for steak we couldn't get over how each and every steak was cooked to perfection (from rare, rare to medium, medium rare, medium, well done). The rack of lamb was so tender. Sides complementary and wine flowing. Not one complaint :-) Cannot wait to return to this quirky, welcoming and excellent eatery. Thank you x

Just off the Bath Road that runs along the edge of Heathrow airport is the Pheasant Restaurant. If you are staying at any of the numerous hotels on the terminal 2-3 side of Heathrow, this restaurant is within a 10 minute walk. Hotel dining rooms can be fine, but in the middle of a business trip it is sometimes nice to escape to a local restaurant filled with local people, not other jet-lagged road warriors.We chose the Pheasant where we had eaten several years ago. We ate in the restaurant (quieter and less crowded than the bar section) because we were joining a friend with whom we wanted to be able to talk. Good service, no pressure, very good food.** IF ** you like liver (not everybody does), the Pheasant serves exceptionally tender liver with onions. I highly recommend it.

Looked on TripAdvisor for somewhere to eat other than the airport hotel restaurant and this place looked good and just 10 minutes walk away. Very much an old fashioned village pub with a small and cosy interior but lots of outdoor seating available. Hard to believe this place is just outside the Heathrow perimeter! The food is great pub grub and the drinks reasonably priced. Landlord was nice and friendly.

For my son's 18th birthday, my family visited the Steak and Lobster branch at Heathrow. We had a wonderful time as all our needs were catered for. The atmosphere was relaxed and nice. Special thanks to Henry, Alice and Traite (not sure about the spelling - sorry), who went out of their way to ensure that my younger son, who has multiple allergies (dairy, egg and nuts), could enjoy a meal as everyone else. He was even offered unlimited salad in addition to the unlimited fries. Our steaks and lobsters were cooked to perfection and tasted really delicious. To end the evening Henry and his team surprised the birthday boy with a complimentary dessert board which was a nice touch. Me and the wife came here after deciding not to dine at the crown plaza Hotel as we were not willing to pay 18 pounds for fish and chips, yes we are northerners and I appreciate London can be expensive but still the prices were excessive. We were told by a friend to try this place as the pub was alleged to have reasonable price pub food and a beer garden so what a way to relax prior to our journey to the USA the next morning. Judging by the pictures below, and 3 pints of beer, 41 pounds,Incredible value, staff very polite, massive portions, excellent beer choice. We shall happily return, I can't understand why people state this is a bad pub, take my word for it, you will not be disappointed.
