Here at Café Eleganza we pride ourselves in quality, both with the food that we prepare fresh every day, and also with the service that we offer our customers. From the finest coffee, ground by ourselves to make sure that we get it just right, to the most
Excellent customer service, very friendly and accommodating. A group of us tried a selection of cakes and they were all delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

We visit quite regularly and continue to be impressed with the quality and consistency. The menu is always extensive with some quite ambitious and tasty 'specials' always available. Another impressive feature is that they are able to tweak the menu to suit the customer where possible. Portions are plentiful and there is no compromise on quality. Good, well kept, beer is on offer. Prices are very reasonable for what is provided. Service is first class .Special mention for Linda for her humour alongside her very dedicated and professional approach at all times.

A little of the beating track, but we'll worth a visit good home cooked meals,,the Monday night steak night seemed very popular and was very busy, but to be honest I preferred lunch time visit ,whilst it was a little quieter ,and you could soak up the atmosphere,

We visited here today for lunch and we were all really impressed! 1 of us chose the hot beef and onion baguette which came with chips and 2 of us had the lasagne off the lunch menu which came with either chips or garlic bread. All meals were beautiful! Friendly staff, friendly warm atmosphere and excellent prices! We will definitely be back!

Champs Sports Bar and Grill is located in Washington, 2 minutes from Junction 64 on the A1 North and South Bound. With a great offer, great atmosphere and great food Champs is the place to be. There is something on our menu for everyone from salads to ste
Staying in a nearby hotel visiting relatives we decided to have our evening meal in Champs, big mistake, there was no draught beer available so we ordered alternative drinks while perusing the menu. There was absolutely nothing for the vegan member of our party. Do they not realise that we are now in the 21st century? No excuse, every establishment should have vegan options on the menu.Hi Stewart237.As you were informed at the time of your visit, we had a problem with our cellar gas which meant we had no draught beer, this problem was totally out of our hands and was rectified as quickly as possible. We did reply to your email regarding vegan options, and did let you know that we had very little choice for this dietary requirement. However we take your comments on board and will be adding in Vegan options onto our next menu.We hope to see you again soon.Regards

the green {floristâ¢giftshopâ¢tearoom } is a concept store, finding its home in the old green library, locally sourced flowers, gifts, tea, coffee, cake etc Quaint and quirky
This is one of our local spots and we visited yesterday. Lovely tea which is loose tea leaves. Gorgeous cakes, scones etc. Inside of the tables are games for the children too which our daughter loved! Also is a florist and sells local items which are lovely. Beautiful room and very friendly warm staff. Will be coming again!

Friendly bar/ restaurant. Situated on the river Wear in Fatfield. Large outside patio overlooking the river. Serving good food and a wide range of drinks.
Food was fresh and tasty, one of the nicest meals I've had in a while!! I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact i didn't like any of the fancy butterfly chicken toppings so asked for just peppercorn sauce on instead (much cheaper option) but had to pay £3 extra on top, didn't make sense buy anyway love the food.

The âOld Smithyâ in Washington Village, is a 400 year old Grade II Listed building. The building has had a colourful past, formerly; a blacksmithâs forge, stables and even a pottery, it is famed locally for its connection to the capture of the highwayman
I haven't eaten in here in about 24 years when it was the Blacksmiths Table. We made a last minute booking yesterday for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant itself has been tastefully decorated and we just loved the fairy lights and candles. We thought it actually looked bigger. The food was amazing and my dessert......well I'm still thinking about the Ginger Ice cream and Warm Plum Bakewell. Well done to the chef, Lee. Well presented and very tasty. We'll definately be back. The staff were all really nice, especially Emma our waitress. Very polite and helpful.Until next time, thank you.

Comfortable, tasteful decor with great music playing. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Good range of dishes at very reasonable prices.Mediterranean pasta with chicken was delicious, very tasty and piping hot from the kitchen. Cumberland curl and mash equally delicious. This came with very tasty gravy and a small amount of crispy leeks. (An extra vegetable served with this may be a good idea)Chocolate brownie with ice cream and a white chocolate and lime pie with cream were both very nice. Will definitely return
