Been here a few times now and always had amazing service and food! The rhubarb shed is always welcoming and friendly and manages to fit you in however busy they are (which is usually quite busy id recommend you book). An especially fabulous chef, who is only an apprentice, Ash cooked some great food for us! Thank you Rhubarb Shed im sure iâll be back soon!

Fully-licensed local independent eatery run by two brothers, on Ecclesall Road, Sheffield. Serving relaxed eclectic brunch menus and contemporary seasonal British evening menus. *Please note - we are closed 18th-28th August for our summer holiday
My wife had booked this restaurant for my birthday and from the moment we walked in we felt very relaxed. When our waitress came with the menus she explained each item on the menu and recommended a wine. Whilst waiting for our starters our waitress brought a sample starter for us to try, the food throughout the evening was excellent. Thanks for a great evening and looking forward to our next visit.Hello,Thank you so much for leaving us such a glowing review. We're glad that you had an enjoyable, relaxed evening with us and that you appreciated all our little extra touches. We hope to see you back again very soon, our menu changes weekly so there will be new dishes for you to enjoy! Best wishes, Juke and Loe

A sporting haven, we show all the live sport you could possibly imagine! Along with great drinks, fantastic coffee and wonderfully fresh food produced from locally sourced produce. Give us a try, and look out for our offers!
Plus points:+good burgers (chicken and beef)+good portion sizes +good value Downsides:-bad service, bar staff were impolite and merely pointed when I asked about our table booking-slow service -no table service, wouldnât normally mind but we had to queue in a queue of people 4 deep all the way across the bar-had to ask for menus-broken glass all over the place May be with mentioning that the place was packed but they should have had more staff work- not the customers fault Tip: book a table Tip: this is not a laid back evening meal type of place, this is a sports barApologies for your experience. Not an excuse however Saturday night for the #UCL final was the busiest night we have had, with hour food service of our full menu. It is still no excuse for rude behaviour or a lack of attention. We have a team meeting on Tuesday and I will print your review and use this to address the issues you have highlighted. These types of things are extremely frustrating, as I feel with a minimum of effort and politeness, we could have given you a great evening with us.Regards,Adrian.

Experience the atmosphere of the greyhound racing from the best seats in the house in the modern glass-fronted Panorama Restaurant accommodating up to 300 people. The Panorama Restaurant boasts a delightful and seasonal menu choice from our highly experie
Went here last night and what a fantastic night we had.Never having been to greyhound racing before I didn't really know what to expect. From the minute we arrived until we left 5 hours later we were looked after by the excellent staff. We were seated at our allocated table next to the window which had our name on it as reserved. We had a couple of posts in front of us which obscured sections of the track but this was only a minor issue. Our young lady waitress who looked after us all night with drinks and food was a credit to the team.We opted for the 3 course meal which I must say was stunning for each of us and we all chose different dishes. There was no rush to eat either so we chose to eat about 7pm.You have tote bookies coming to your table to take your bets and pay out any winnings owed. She was also very helpful and really cheery and had a laugh and a joke with you.Overall a very enjoyable evening which we will definitely be repeating. Highly recommended for all ages and thank you to all the hard working staff. Thanks for your wonderful comments, we will be sure to pass them along.See you again soon!

Trippets Lounge Bar is the establishment for fizz, gin, dining and jazz in Sheffield. We are an award-winning independent bar in the heart of âThe Steel Cityâ on the renowned Trippet Lane; a short walk from the Cathedral, the City Hall and the Peace Garde
Trippets has restored some faith in having an evening out in Sheffield. Couldn't have asked for a better night out. I was out with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the night. We booked a week beforehand and our table was ready on arrival, it was ours for the evening. A table for two right by the window. We were as faraway from where the band were playing as you could get but it made for great background music as we dined. The menu was mouthwatering and lived up to expectations. We shared three nibbles, four plates and had a different dessert each. Although the dessert defeated the daughter! What incredible flavours we experienced, all well presented and just the right portion sizes. The cheddar & leek bites with Cumberland sauce was particularly outstanding. I myself drank the bottled bitter, my daughter had a couple of gins from "the gin bible". Again faultless. The great thing about it all was that you could order your plates as and when you were ready to eat. There was no rush what so ever, no one coming over "are you ready to order, are you ready to order?" It took us almost three hours to complete our meal.Afterwards we popped into the bar for a drink and listened to the swing band. A group of students from the Uni swing society were there dancing their socks off. It was great to watch. Even better was the bill when it arrived. Take off the £20 deposit and we were left with a meagre £53 to pay between us. Fantastic value I thought for a fantastic experience. The only down side to visiting Trippets was that I'll now have to take the wife next time.

Came here based on recommendation from a friend and wasnât disappointed. The cafe is so cute inside and comfy seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The afternoon tea was lovely and set out very nicely on a picnic bench (never seen that anywhere else). The food was delicious and a very good price! The only downside I had was that we were charged extra for another pot of tea and coffee when this should have been included in the afternoon tea. Otherwise a very nice visit here, Iâd come again.

FOOD : SERVICE : DRINK Our unassuming restaurant is tucked in the Rafters on the corner of Oakbrook Road just 10 minutes from town centre. Relaxed Sheffield hospitality with food cooked & served by a team that genuinely care. 2 AA Rosettes Michelin listed
Rafters, a tiny upstairs 'fine dining' restaurant in a suburb, uses imaginative methods of cooking and sauces. Our amuse bouche, first course, fish and duck main course, and cheese were all excellent. The staff were very young but professional and knowledgeable about the wine and food, as well as appropriately charming. Their marking of it being our 48th wedding anniversary was delightful. The loos were clean and pleasant. The downside? Far too small portions, and NO fruit and veg at all in my dinner, a minute amount in my husband's (5 a day???). This is a Yorkshire fault I know, but they do need to struggle against their provincial roots if they are to succeed in being 'fine dining'.
