Greg & Lou have run the business since 2002 ,Fish and Chip takeaway and Restaurant.. also offering steaks, Ribs, Gammons, Jackets. Phone orders welcome. Large carpark and quick service!
Went here for Saturday night dinner with a mate, and sat in their spacious and really clean restaurant. Itâs obvious by the busy nature of the car park and takeaway booth itâs a popular place. And very quickly we saw why...Friendly service for starters, and really good value. I had Haddock & Chips, with my mate having a large Cod & Chips. Huge, nicely battered fish and unbelievably good chips. Plus the curry sauce was good too. First rate, and somewhere Iâll be venturing back to as a regular detour off the A30 when Iâm next in Cornwall. What a lovely review, thank you very much. We all try are best and work together as a team and glad this is all paying off with the lovely reviews we are getting..we all appreciate when we are acknowledged and it's nice to share the lovely feedback with our staff. Thanks again Lou

....food wasnât great. Service was good. Didnât take long for food to come out although very few eating. Basic menu but reasonably priced. One thing you canât defend though...lumpy gravy. Lumps in mine and the wifeâs the size of peas. Itâs not hard really to make gravy (clearly Bisto) but for any chef regardless of where they work to send out lumpy gravy...very poorWould we go back? No. Would I recommend? Apart from the gravy it was OK. Just that, OK5/10. And thatâs largely based on the friendliness of the staff. Thank you for your review & can only apologise for your lumpy gravy.I do however feel that rating us on Lumpy gravy is a bit poor !!If there was anything else you could have informed us about your meal it would been a little more helpful but if that was the only problem ? I'm sure that we could have rectified the lumpy gravy immediately.May I suggest that any future reviews you leave for establishments are a little more constructive.Thank you again Regards

Soon as we walked in we were welcomed warmly. The restaurant has a nice luxurious feel & the atmosphere was really pleasant. We had 3 courses & every one delicious, not a single complaint about the food. Just the right quantities too, not too much to leave you stuffed, not too little to leave you hungry. Went into the lounge after, live band was great, jazz & acoustic music. Real nice end to the evening, cant wait to go back again. Elegant setting, staff that couldnt be any more helpful & upbeat, amazing food, bar manager who knows his drinks like a legend, amazing evening

Having been here for the last two cornish holidays we decided we had to come back again. Not once but twice, although daughter and her boyfriend made 3 trips. As usual the food was excellent and of a large portion but not too expensive. On the Friday we came later and they managed to find room for 5 at late notice. We were treated to some live entertainment, although due to a 30 min drive to our holiday accommodation we only stayed until 10.00pmHighly recommended, and a must sample place.

As stated before I have been here a few times now with biker friends and family too. Every time I have been the staff have been lovely and friendly. The food was nice and filling and the surroundings were lovely clean and pleasing to the eye. I like the larger than life size superhero and famous models outside and inside the building plus the 50s style jukebox is a nice touch too. Iâd happily recommend Jennâs to anyone. They are especially welcoming to bikes as I have seen a few blood bike collections events there along with bikers from a bike night each week stopping off too. Itâs not the cheapest place to go but at the same time there are many more expensive places around too. So Iâd say itâs pretty fairly priced on the whole.Keep up the good work girls and Iâll see you again soon Iâm sure. Big Jock.

My friend and I ate here three times during our stay on the attached camping site. The staff were outstanding and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.Very dog friendly with well spaced tables so dogs can be comfortable but not under the feet of people who may not like dogs.I had scampi which was delicious and a bigger portion of actual scampi than i have ever had.I also had the steak and ale pie which was an amazing home cooked delight stuffed full of beautifully cooked top quality meat. It was so good I had it two nights running.I would definitely recommend this pub and hope to return again
