Award winning cafe. great breakfasts and a good cuppa....
I would like to say that the place is clean but definatly not the best value or relaxing of cafeâs.I have been many times and depending on time of day and the staff, this is what reflects on the rating.Mornings are ok but busy lunchtimes, eapecially weekends and if there is a function on at Winter Gardens then sadly some staff let this place down with a rather flipant attitude if pointing out knives and forks were dirty.I will say this incident with the knives and forks was a one off but the lad changing them made it a drama and made us feel uncomfortable for asking them to be replaced. That said, with clean knives and forks changed, the food was adequate but again depending on the time of visit, there appears to be no consistance of portions or presentation which is a shame if going on a business meeting which was noted by myself and colleagues.Summing up- just average, not the best, not the worse.

Blackpools dedicated burger bar. We serve Burgers,Hotdogs, Chicken wings, Shakes and Beer. Family's welcome
All the food we ate was properly amazing (burgers, chips and chicken strips). The staff were really friendly and the decor and vibe of the place is really cool.

With a lifetimeâs background in the catering industry and running a town centre chippy that pre-dates just about every other town centre takeaway in Poulton, itâs hardly surprising that this place has an excellent reputation and a loyal clientele. The owner (Christian) is on first name terms with his regulars and knows what they want before they do. He cut back on things like kebabs a while ago to concentrate mainly on what he has mastered â good old basic fish and chips (though you can sill purchase pies and sausages). He also cut back on the opening hours despite the temptation of later night diners â why serve food to people too ârelaxedâ to know what they are eating? He has achieved a raft of awards along the way and prides himself on selecting the best sustainable produce around. There's small eating in facility upstairs too - and an even smaller one on the ground floor.

Family run cafe inspired by David Bowie, we serve afternoon tea, homemade cakes, sharing boards, breakfasts, main meals and have a range of coffees, soft drinks and cocktails. We also have a tapas menu available on Friday and Saturday.
Had made a list of few places we wanted to eat whilst visiting blackpool and this was one. We wanted to avoid the typical greasy chips or chain brands. Booked a table for Tuesday lunch and it was really busy. We were lucky it was sunny so we sat outside. Son had a picnic bench which he loved and weve never seen it served as nice before. Hubby had a club sandwich and i jad a chicken and sweet chilli jam panini and 2 cokes came to 19 quid. We all enjoyed it and our only comment would be the coleslaw is lovely a bigger portion would have been appreciated. It did take 15/20 min food to come we just chilled and enjoyed the sun â. A special mention for the very clean toilets . Would definitely recommend it. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Ziggy's. Our picnic benches are very popular with our younger customers and we are glad your son enjoyed his. We hope to see you again. Many thanks- Ziggy's

At Miller & Carter we know a thing or two about steak. In fact, we could say that we're one of the best steakhouses in Lancashire. But we'd rather leave that to your judgement. Because once you've tasted our hand-cut, 30-day aged British & Irish steaks yo
Booked our favourite Miller and Carter for my special birthday meal. All started well, nice greet, good waiter Adrian. Starter good and drinks served. Mains arrived, my steak looked great, however my wifes duck had issues, sliced and fat everywhere, hardly any meat and pinker than expected. The waiter came and agreed it was not right, took it away, came back and advised it coukd be the same next time, my wife ordered pork but was told a fifteen minutes wait. So what everyone hates I ate my steak with mupy wife watching, then after ai had finished she ate hers with me watching. Ok the manager did not charge for my wifes meal but what chef would send a duck meal out like that. You cannot complain direct to M and C, just a survey, but my special night was ruined.Obviously this is disappointing for us to hear and we are sorry that the meal your wife had was not to her liking and that you weren't able to eat at the same time. You should have been asked if you wanted us to redo your dish as well so that you were able to eat together. I believe that this wasn't done so do apologize and that you left disappointed. We constantly look for ways to improve as a restaurant so we have some points to pick up on with our training of the team.M&C Poulton Team

Bar & grill restaurant in the centre of Blackpool. Serving Brunch, Afternoon Tea, and evening A La Carte Menu.
This is a must visit place to eat in Blackpool. Food is delicious, staff are exceptional and they cater fantastic for gluten free. I was also particularly impressed with how mature the kids menu is. My family and I will definitely eat there again.

This restaurant is spacious and clean, offers a good menu and has very pleasant friendly staff to serve you. PLUS our Haddock & Chips were delicious too !!We shall be returning soon. Thank you Yorkshire Fisheries ! Thank you for visiting us on the back of the recommendation you were given. Itâs great to read that you will be returning and we look forward to welcoming you back

I arrived at lunch time and the cafe only had two tables free, as I had a pram I asked where would be best to sit as I didnât want to be in the way.. the counter staff werenât very helpful until I suggested Iâd better come back another time. The table I was given was a pop up plastic table with a dirty cloth covering it, it was full of crumbs and the table was very off balance, which is not the best when sitting with a one year old at the table. I ordered the vegetable soup and sandwich, the soup was barely warm and didnât taste of very much, my little one enjoyed it fortunately but I did not. One waitress in particular was very friendly and appeared to make an effort to speak to everybody, I didnât catch her name but she had blonde hair in a pony tail and wore glasses. The other waitress and counter staff enjoyed friendly chat with the customers who appeared to be regulars but others were not really acknowledged. For example when waiting to place my order, the waitress walked past me two or three times to clear up or set other tables and only asked for my order once I asked if I could order. Overall the concept of the cafe seems nice but I think itâs a place for regulars really and doesnât really have space for prams or wheelchairs.

Firstly, by far the best Sunday lunch we have EVER eaten out. From the minute we walked through the door we was pleasantly greeted by Daniel we was with our little girl and he made a fuss of her gave her some colouring etc she was in her element. The decor is just so lovely makes you feel really cosy and at home. Food was just lovely everything fresh and majority home made. I had the chicken liver pate for starters with a onion and chilli chutney bloody delicious. All 3 roasts were divine piping hot couldnât ask for better. We will definitely be back when we are back in Blackpool. What a gem of a place and a credit to the whole of Blackpool x

What's in a name? Well, you have to admit that Truly Scrumptious conjures up images of lace curtains and gingham table cloths. So a revamp was the order of the day - and certainly something was required to sole the condensation problems which previously mean everyday looked foggy! Now it's far more modern - widows which will open into the Mews on a good day and a much lighter feel to the place - both on the ground floor and upstairs too.Food is prepared to order so there's usually a bit if a wait but it's worth it. The coffee is very good. We usually opt for the bacon or fried egg barms and have never been disappointed. So it's a new (shorter) name - just Truly (with Kitchens and Tea Rooms added to its business cards) - but the same staff and the same service.
