we are a small restaurant in the heart of Penzance selling a wide range of International street food ! made with locally sourced produce ! we also have a wide range of drinks; from cocktails to milkshakes .
Went on the recommendation of our B&B landlady. Good ambience and menu, service friendly but slow. Our mains arrived after 45 minutes, but no starters, they had somehow âgot lostâ. Food was well presented, good quality and reasonably priced. The floor area around our table best described as âstickyâ. Although the overall experience would not put us off visiting again, I got the impression that the place was perhaps resting on it laurels and could do with refocusing on customer service.

Welcome to The Godolphin, a bustling, beachfront restaurant with rooms at the heart of Mountâs Bay. Weâre directly opposite St Michael's Mount, the iconic island fortress crowned by a medieval castle and surrounded by a sea that's teeming with wildlife â
All we wanted was a light lunch nothing fancy or expensive just a sandwich and a drink!! Unfortunately the menu has changed and although we sat outside with a stunning view of St Michaelâs Mount with a refreshing drink we couldnât have our sandwich!! I understand the need to change the menu but not everyone wants to spend a fortune and have a large meal at lunchtime!! We live in Cornwall and would probably think twice about eating here again unless we can have just a sandwich like you used to able to do!!!

We had a lovely dinner for 6 people - ask for the round table as it is near the window and you get the evening light. The food was excellent and most enjoyable - a good selection from the set price menu which was also reasonable. Good atmosphere and the staff were most attentive, it took some time to pay the bill because of the credit card machine!!

Utterly drenched by incessant rain, having walked from Penzance to St Michael's Mount, I was telling my companions in no uncertain terms that I needed a dry refuge and a very hot coffee to go with it. The Copper Spoon provided both & then some. A lovely welcome and a tasty herby scone also helped restore my good humour. Rain or shine, this terrific spot deserves your custom. And they'll welcome your dog too!

Tucked away in the old quarter of Penzance, The Cornish Barn is a rustic restaurant, bar and smokehouse in Penzance serving a wholesome menu with a focus on fresh Cornish produce â all helped along by craft beers and wines from local independent vineyards
We had drinks here one night, and came back the next night for dinner. We loved the warm, cosy decor, good choice of drinks and pretty good food. The only thing that wasnât great was the service; a lot of errors both times, the staff were friendly but lacked professionalism. They forgot to bring menus and to seat us in the restaurant until well after the reservation time, and every drinks order was messed up. All in all, however, we forgave the slapdash service because the ambiance and food made up for it. We would go again if we were in the area.Good evening honeyHenleyonThames,Thank you for your time writing this review.I am happy to hear that you loved the atmosphere of the Restaurant, and I will be sure to pass on your comments about the food on to the kitchen.I am sorry that the service was not to the standards that you wanted. Please feel free to contact the management team via phone or by emailing us at [email protected] to provide some extra information, so that we can work to insure that this does not happen again.
