Visited with my son for a meal and to watch the Champions League as they have multiple TV's and a big screen. Wasn't disappointing at all! The pub is very cosy and with warm locals. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. We both had a burger and was deliciously cooked at the grill with lots of flavour. Really enjoyed it.Atmosphere was nice and friendly, so will definitely be back again when in town.Great experience.

We hosted a family and friends BBQ the day after wedding on May 12th, both Pete & Linda accomodated us all in the read garden with exclusivity. They put on a great BBQ with nice food and drink for us at a very good price. They gave us use of their sound system and luckily with the weather we didn't need their marquee/tent but it was available if the weather was looking bad for our day. We continued late into the night and accomdated us further inside the pub and we had a great time celebrating and continuing our celebrations with our friends and family. Thank you so much guys!

A really great place to buy a sandwich. I recommend the bacon, sausage and egg on Tiger baguette. Friendly staff, very reasonably priced, quick, efficient service and will try to accommodate most tastes. We call in when ever we are in Luton.Regards Bill and Gareth.

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
I was staying again at the premier inn next door so I had breakfast here. Great choice of cereals and pastries etc. Full selection of English breakfast items that are regularly refreshed. Various teas and coffees available too.

Living locally weâve been lots of times. In my opinion theyâve overpriced the food and if only go with a voucher( vouchers are regularly available and offer 40% off main meals) we ordered a flatbread mozzarella starter which was small and disappointingly cold. The buttermilk chicken starter was average. For the price we paid our mains were tasty and good value, we had the fillet steak, steak stroganoff, vegan sloppy burger and meat sloppy burger.

A family run restaurant and deli offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and takeaway. Fresh homemade cakes can be eaten in the restaurant or purchased to take away. We also sell a lot of the high quality meats and cheeses we use within our menu. Our menu chang
After hearing and reading a lot of good reviews we thought we would give it a try on a Friday evening. When we arrived we were given a cocktail menu but no food or drinks menus. The waitress was lovely but not very knowledgable. She didnât know what gins were served and when we asked if there were desserts she said we could choose from the counter only to then bring a menu. We were left sitting with dirty plates for quite a while then a few were cleared and again the rest were left. The food was ok but the fish cakes werenât very hot - new ones were prepared. The patatas bravas appeared to have been reheated.Sadly we were rather disappointed by the food and service and at £49 for 6 tapas, a G&T and a bottle of sparkling water we didnât feel it was very good value.

Firstly, the service was impeccable. The Sommelier gave us excellent recommendations for the wine. Catina Cabernet Franc with main course and Chardonnay. The starter dishes were just so lacking in tase. The tomato special was a soggy puss..sorry, but would not recommend. The main dishes we OK but the Doversole was eye wateringly expensive. An extra £20 each! So all in all not a bad evening, but somewhat expensive £176 for the two of us.

A family booking to celebrate my partnerâs birthday. The staff were attentive and helpful to our every need from when we arrived. I had named a couple of dietary requirements when pre-booking the table, these were reconfirmed upon arrival, and we were able to âswapâ a couple of the sandwiches and cakes on the stand for others in order to meet these requirements. The afternoon tea itself is a set amount per head, although you can re-order your tea, coffee and hot chocolate at no extra cost throughout your time there. There are several varieties of fruit teas available. In fact despite a 2.30 booking it was made clear that the table was ours for the remainder of the afternoon and we therefore didnât feel the need to rush as you may do if in a restaurant. The Lounge offers a fantastic elevated view of the gardens. These are very well-kept and nicely presented and we may have considered a walk around them but were prevented by the wet weather on the day (maybe next time?).A special afternoon in an extremely pleasant setting. Iâm hopeful of being able to return for another special occasion in the future.

Where to eat in Luton, when stuck between travels. Go here. Its worth the taxi ride, and you'll get much better food than elsewhere, on or off the airport. The menu is outright impressive, and the food-experience was "home-made". Even to the degree that cooked vegetables were a bit overcooked. Sharing the pub with the locals add to the atmosphere. It is always lovely to hear when people find our menu impressive and appreciate that our food is home-made. ThankyouPaul

Went in on the off chance today, most tables were reserved but they found us a free one. Extensive menu including lots of healthy options. I had a grilled fillet of Sea Bass with a green salad, and the other meal was an avocado salad. Both were delicious. You order and pay at the bar, and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Nice ambience. For some reason, the lights kept going up and down which was a bit strange, but other than that it was an excellent lunch.
