Enjoyed yesterday, 7/9/19, with my Son two Gluten Free breakfasts. We did pre order to ensure sausages and toast would be available. The food was cooked to perfection, lovely and hot. The service was spot on and at £6 a breakfast excellent value for money. We will visit again :)

We were a party of about 26, booked in for a special birthday party. We had all pre booked our choice of food. Even though the pub was very busy with other customers we were able to enjoy talking to our friends/family and then as soon as we were ready our starters arrived as soon as we sat , they all seemed to be very good , maybe a slightly larger portion of calamari would of been welcome but it was tasty. The main meals were then followed and all seemed to be enjoyed, especially the pie, and the vegetarian burger, a good selection of meals . Impressed with comfortable seating which always helps to keep customers longer. Rest area clean. All in all a good impression. Keep it up and we will return.

The Bower Inn is a beautiful 18th century building surrounded by a picturesque cottage garden on the outskirts of Bridgwater. Set on the edge of the Somerset Levels itâs within easy access from the M5 Motorway and offers a quality country pub, 16-room hot
Was looking for something better than a standard pub menu, and also somewhere new to go and found this on Trip. Discussed it with others who know the area and who also recommended and although a little ££ was well worth it and highly regarded by locals. Booked a table over the phone - no problems. Arrived and was nicely surprised by the pretty decor outside. Attentive well drilled friendly staff escorted us into a small dining area of around 10 tables, but not a problem - nice menu and choice on offer. A small point would be the lack of a table decoration. Ordered the 8oz steak with extra vegetables, her the chicken breast. Both foods were well cooked, very tasty and well presented. Deserts were also very good inc my cheese & biscuits board. Not rushed we ate and cleared our plates. Toilets were well decorated and nicely serviced as well. Minor pointers were no lighting working in the car park which was dark at 10pm. Overall i rated the location and decor 9/10, 9/10 again for food and 10/10 on staff & work ethic. A very nice place to visit for something a little bit extra food wise, and deserves its place on Trip in the upper echelon for the area.

A traditional family run welcoming freehold country inn, over 400 years old and still retaining much of the charm and features of a typical old british pub with the original flagstone floors and beamed ceilings, we are proud to source local produce when e
Traditional pub a few miles off the M5, J23. Large flat car park with electric if required (£5). Very nice food and a good selection of beers and ciders. The Sunday Carvery is recommended. Very friendly welcoming staff. Handy for Glastonbury, the Clarke Outlet Village and within walking distance to Nature Reserves. The pub has a Skittle Alley and function room and is dog friendly in the bar area. This is a lovely old fashioned pub with authentic decor, the staff are polite and very approachable, nothing is too much trouble. The food is absolutely gorgeous, all locally sourced and fresh. If you're eating for an occasion like a birthday I recommend booking in advance, as tables soon get booked up. we will definitely be going back in the future.

Five of us had a really good Sunday lunch. The beef and lamb dishes arrived promptly and the portions are more than generous and very tasty. Desserts took a bit of time to arrive but we were informed why and when they came they were delicious.
