2nd time we have been here for a family gathering and I have to say the Staff are wonderful. Very attentive and professional. The good is lovely and we all had different options. I tried the Chicken Kiev and it was delicious and served with sweet potato fries and a side salad. The Hargreaves pale ale, is a lovely blonde ale and highly recommended.. Overall another good night, great company and being honest a slightly bad head this morning. We will no doubt be back.

Do you want somewhere with fires blazing on a wet evening, friendly caring staff, excellent service and wholesome foodâ¦â¦.look no further than the Walton Arms.Lots of cosy corners, good pub menu with all the favourites and some not expected! We visited mid week after work and it was very busy. The service was lighting fast, thank you.Take for instance the vegan pulled jack-fruit burger! Absolutely amazing! Give it a try for a manly burger with a big taste, hubby loved this.I had the cheese and onion pie, which I am partial to, perfect and very cheesy in a good way! Will certainly be back again .

Went with family on a Saturday. Was a last minute booking. Very welcoming considering lunch time on Saturday as well. I ordered a beef baguette with salad. Plenty of healthy stuff. Beef nicely cooked to combined well with crispy baguette. All arrived quickly.

Even without the lovely food itâs one of my places to take a walk. Lovely views looking around the gardens. They do weddings here, great for the photo session!! Back to the food. Came with friends and had a lovely lunch. Baked hake, quiche and sandwiches. We all enjoyed the meals, maybe a bit stingy on portions but all in all good service lovely surroundings. Will come again.

Always a winner. Lovely staff who couldnât do enough for you - highly recommend for a spot of lunch/brunch!

Welcome to the Duckworth Hall Inn. A traditional pub in the Lancashire countryside, serving home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere.
On Sunday I just fancied a home made Sunday lunch without all the washing up that comes with it and my partner suggested eating here.We hadnât booked but the staff were more than accommodating at finding a table to fit us in.I ordered the beef Sunday lunch and asked if they could swap the new potatoes for mash and I must say I was not disappointed. The beef was beautifully cooked and the accompaniments were lovely, with a huge yorkshire pudding on top. For £9.95 absolute bargain, lovely home cooked food without any washing up!I would definitely recommend eating here â¤ï¸

Saturday afternoon. Out for a few drinks and feeling peckish. This place has a largish menu, with a specials board, so there's plenty to choose from. We had scampi (which apparently was more than acceptable) and the home made meat pie. Fab service, great food, lovely people and very reasonably priced. We'd definitely come here to eat again.
