Such a nice looking bar in a beautiful town on the Isle of Wight. Wide selection of food and drink available. Modern, airy and well presented. Such a shame the Bar Manager (Chad I beleive) could do with learning some people skills. I couldn't help but over hear him being rude, condescending and vile. He was aggressive, demanding and very intimidating towards the female members of staff. He was nice enough to the customers but the way he talks to and treats the female staff is disgusting! I had to leave as I couldn't cope with such awful behaviour. I would have expected alot more professionalism from a bar manager. Very disappointed customer.

We were the only people eating in the place. There was a free disco setting up with we hadn't been told about. The room was freezing as doors were constantly being left open. The waiter didn't write anything down and clearly didn't listen as he messed up the starters and continued to mess up. God knows how he copes if ever they get busy. Food was good but won't be going again.

Location fantastic. Building tired and rundown desperately in need of some TLC. Staff friendly and helpful. Visited for light lunch with sister and mother. Ordered soup and toasted sandwich at 1342. 50 mins later after prompting twice our snack arrived. Apparently mislaid order, staff very apologetic and gave us free coffees. Food acceptable.

Recently refurbished, The Blenheim is a small, friendly town centre pub which is close to all amenities. We offer good value homecooked pub food and provide a wide range of beers, wines and spirits. There is a great deal of history associated with The Ble
We had a little venture out as the hotel food wasn't tickling any pickles this side of the Channel, so here we are in the Blenheim. Easily accessed for the wobbles amongst us, except be aware gents the toilet is up some stairs whereas the ladies is up a couple of manageable steps. There's free WiFi and you can pay card as well as cash, there's bar games plugged in as you walk in the door and a log burner in the back corner which wasn't on when we came in but the seasons only just finishing. The barman seemed friendly enough & there was a fair bit of selection on the menu. Clearly has been refurbished recently and is definitely a drinkers pub first, so if you're offended by laughter or Faint smoke smell then probably avoid#travelDaveThank you for your review TravelDave - The Blenheim has been a drinkers pub traditionally, and youâre quite right - we have had a full refurbishment this year. We have introduced a full menu since we reopened, and are striking the balance between it being a food venue and a drinking venue. We have a very loyal customer base, but have been delighted to welcome many new faces since reopening. The feedback both verbally, and in reviews, has been positive, but we do take note of all comments, to continuously improve this delightful old place. Thanks again

We called in to book a table a few weeks ago and as they say "first impressions count"! Staff were really friendly and when we arrived for our meal that same evening the friendliness continued. Food was superb, service first-class and great value for money. Have phoned today to book a meal for this Saturday to treat our friends to a special birthday meal!

Booked here whilst on holiday as it appeared to tick all the boxes, and it didn't disappoint. Very dog friendly, good choice of beers and wines. We had a 3 course Sunday Lunch, plentiful and hot. Was recommended to eat here by our B&B owner who also told us to make sure we booked as it is small and usually very busy. Real old fashioned charming village pub with an italian menu comprising pizza and pasta and much more. Went for the "life changing" lasagne which was very nice and the wife had the sea bass which was served on a bed of tagiatelle also very good. Service is good and friendly staff made it a nice atmosphere for a pleasant evening.
