Warm Friendly Pub- 10 Real Ales- Freshly Cooked Food, Locally Sourced
I stopped here by chance, on my way to the old town on High Street. Decent food for a decent price (beer battered cod at 8£) and a great selection of beers (but they also have a few ciders to serve). Nice interior, clean. Friendly service. I will come back.

Traditional "Olde Worlde" pub serving good food and real ales, with a large garden terrace overlooking a beautiful duck pond in the picturesque village of Graveley.
Lovely small pub near Stevenage. We arrived after work at 5.30pm and the bar lady gave us a reserved table until 7pm as we hadn't booked. They don't start cooking until 6pm but this gave us a chance to enjoy a drink beforehand. Our meals we're excellent (burgers) and we really liked the friendly welcome and atmosphere.

We have been in for drinks a few times since the new tenants took over the running of this lovely village pub/restaurant, and now the refurbishment is complete we decided to call for food.So we visited Tuesday evening and were certainly not disappointed.Greeted by the new landlord with a smile and a welcome, taken straight to our tables where he took our drinks order, and gave us the menu. Our drinks arrived and our food order was taken, soup for myself and the crab dish for my wife. Both were delicious.I had the lamb burger and my wife the veggie burger for mains, served with skin on chipped potatoes and homemade slaw. We couldn't manage a dessert !.All excellent. We then retired to the bar with another round of drinks.Must mention our waitress, who was attentive, pleasant and efficient, as if things mattered to her rather than we just dealt with 'as a matter of course'The refurbishment looks good, particularly the bar area, the place gives you a feeling of "going out" for the evening which we like. The staff were friendly. The drinks range is extensive, nice house wines, and a choice of ales on the hand pumpIn all, a lovely evening out, good food, reasonable prices, friendly service. We will be back.Thank you so much for your very kind words. We do try hard to make every single guest feel welcome and take feedback to heart. It was a pleasure hosting you and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

A British Brasserie located in the historic Stevenage Old Town. We cook good, honest, flavourful food that is British at it's heart and served seven days a week.
Had just draught beer but reasonable prices and looks betterThan the old town social club or weatherspoons bars , Seating out side has last of the days sun as well .

My boyfriend & i went for brunch with another couple.Thank god we booked a table, the place was buzzing...which leads me on nicely to the fact the waiter saved me from a wasp, I will be forever grateful.I had the chorizo hash, it was delicious and there was plenty of other things to choose from and everything was reasonably priced.Looking to go back at xmas for another get together.

Arrived to a busy and slightly chaotic Sunday lunch. Our table wasn't ready so we had a quick drink at the very busy bar. Table was ready after 10 minutes and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The girls work very hard and we're brilliant even when stressed.

We were greeted at the door and shown to our table which was not booked in advance. The restaurant was soon getting very busy so we had timed our Friday night outing just right. We sat close to the steak cooking area which, with the flames, was mesmerising and interesting. However, we enjoyed our wine, beer and salads. We were trying to be good on this occasion. The staff were prompt, helpful and friendly. Good menu too to cater for all tastes and sizes of appetites. The guy on the next table seemed to have ordered half a cow! We will return I am sure. Upon leaving we we given a friendly goodbye and a thank you, which is often forgotten in some places.
