We know you'll love the interior, featuring open kitchens, stone fired ovens and log burning fires, offset by beautifully landscaped gardens for alfresco dining. The menu is simple but up-to-the-minute, with lots of comfort appeal, with homely things like
Generally the standard is very good, however Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Started with soup just warm. We had roast dinners; plentiful however roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding over cooked and tasteless, usually stay for 3 courses, however due to the poor starter and main we decided to leave.

Iâve been visiting the bluebell for many years now and the recent uplift in decor has really made the place shine. The food is fantastic, like a proper Sunday roast rather than other carveries where the meat feels and tastes synthetic. You can have as little or much as you like, portions are generous. The recently got rated one of the top carveries in birmingham by Birmingham mail. Staff courteous and always helpful. They generally take bookings for 12, 2 or 4pm on Sundayâs. You can visit between these times however if a table is reserved youâll need to ensure youâre gone before then (fair is fair). Not sure what some of the other reviews are about but have heard it was to do with table reservation signs being removed by other customers which was addressed by management- as I said above fair is fair- if a table is reserved and there isnât enough time for you to eat then donât use it!

Two of us dined on a Saturday Evening. Bar area uninspiring with large television in the corner? Not what i would expect in a good restaurant. Main restaurant is a lovely room but badly needs re-designing....too bright and no atmosphere. Food was good and not too over priced. Very happy with the service by a young man who acted very politely and professional. They had no de-caffinated coffee !!!!! so left earlier than planned. With the amount of competition around, would only return if major changes were made. Sorry.

We popped in on the off chance of a table for two for our anniversary. It was about 6.30 and when we were told "we will see if we can fit you in", we thought they were joking with us as the restaurant was fairly quiet. But boy were we wrong by 7.30 it was packed. We managed to get a lovely table next to the window. We decided to dine from the special menu. The came quickly, was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. This is in our opinion the best food anywhere in the area. The special menu is very good value for money with an excellent choice of food. We were served by Holly and Conner who deserve special mention for their happy friendly faultless service. Thank you. Tip- make sure you book even if you think it may be a quiet night in the week to avoid disappointment.Thankyou for your review I will pass your kind wishes to the kitchen and our manager conor and Hollie your server we look forward to your next visit

Held our Golden Wedding party here and chose from set menu. The food was excellent and we could not have had better service from the staff. Extremely obliging and cheerful at all times (even when dealing with large drinks orders). Have eaten here for tea on Motherâs Day and lunch on Fatherâs Day. Both were delicious. Just an example below of one of one of the desserts.

Met up at Firejacks with friends for a birthday party and were made to feel special throughout the whole evening. Fantastic menu choice - delicious food that was beautifully presented - brilliant atmosphere with just the right level of music and a "buzz" to the place - and our waitress was AMAZING! We had a 4 month old baby with us as part of the group and we were really nervous about crying and the noise to other diners - but fortunately little one didn't even murmur - so we had plenty of time to catch up with each other and nothing was too much trouble for Aga the waitress - it really made the evening and she was a great ambassador of the brand. My steak was just brilliant and my friends ribs were the best he had eaten he said - and he is a chef - so that speaks volumes. Highly recommended - and if you are lucky you might get Aga as your waitress and have the best evening ever. Brilliant 10/10

Revolution is always my go-to if Iâm out for drinks in my local area. You can always guarantee good cocktails which are made even better by the fact theyâre two-for-one nearly all day, everyday! The menu is regularly updated with new drinks which makes it nice if you visit every so often, as thereâs always new drinks to try out. Food is very reasonably priced for the quality, definitely wouldnât say itâs âpub grubâ. In fact, sometimes we just come here for lunch when weâre out shopping. The tapas style dishes are great to share. And finally, service. All the staff are very welcoming and always have a smile! It definitely helps to make a great atmosphere. I know not all Revolutions are good (been in a few terrible ones!), but I would definitely recommend the Solihull branch if youâre looking for great cocktails and a fun day/night out.
