Following many recomendations we visited for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed .The main sitting area is upstairs in an area larger than you would think from outside .Decent seating arrangements with plenty of space between tables .A warm welcome and good service .A 2 course for 15 and 3 course for 17.50.I had traditional roast beef dinner with tender beef ,good yorkshire pudding and 6 different types of veg .Starters and desserts were also tasty .Decent size portions may mean 2 courses were enough. We will return

This is an excellent bar on the main street. Not many people in when we called but friendly staff and a nice comfortable bar.

The Junction Restaurant & Sidings Bar is no ordinary eatery. Don't be fooled by its location as inside lies a very special, unique experience for food lovers. Offering a combination of two different food environments the ethos is the same throughout, the
Friendly, welcoming, good service and great food-just what we needed, but pleasantly surprised in a small place. So pleased to have found it and it's right on our doorstep-couldn't be better. Looking forward to trying Wednesday night steak night!

English pub and dining close to central Morpeth. Traditional pub food and grill. Famous for Sunday Lunch.
Another grill deal, another great evening. The staff here really are second to none, always helpful and polite and always friendly. Tonight we enjoyed another super meal, cooked to perfection and served with a smile. All the young waiting staff were lovely, and Ciara is always smiling and a pleasure to be served by!

St Maryâs Inn is the type of place that I donât want to review. Purely for the fact that I want to keep it a secret for myself & family & friends. Sunday Lunch exceptional with the best Yorkshire Pud Iâve tasted outside of my own kitchen. Service fabulous and thank you to Bethany for being such a lovely welcoming server. Can see us returning here time & again, but shhhh..... donât tell anyone!

We visited here on a very rainy day with my daughter and her boyfriend and their 14 week old lab pup. Iâve never really been a dog person so I was a bit apprehensive. They were so friendly and accommodating. Food was good and well priced and the whole experience very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place. Great staff nice atmosphere and good food. Thank you so much, hope to see you again.RegardsAnna

This really is one of the best pubs that we have been to. The bar staff and service were excellent, so friendly and made you feel very welcome. They were attentive without being bothersome. Now as for the food, the portions were so generous! But most importantly the food looked and tasted amazing. It is how I imagine oub food to be, familiar but done well which this pub does.Love the cosy and laid back atmosphere, we felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the evening. We will be going there again for sure.

We are a traditional English country pub that nestles next to the river coquet in northumberland. Our food is a mix of bar and restaurant, and we try and source as much as possible from local suppliers.
Fantastic menu, something for everyone, comfortable dining room, excellent value lunchtime menu and friendly service. Nine of us had lunch here (fortunately we booked as the restaurant was very busy) and we'd definitely go again.

we do food every day Monday to Saturday from 11.30 to 3pm then 5pm to 9pm and on Sundays 12noon to 6.30pm
An extensive and varied menu with extra daily specials. Food was very good quality and the portions were very generous - my friend had a "small" portion and it wouls hardly fit on the plate!Staff efficient and friendly. For a Tuesday lunchtime in September, it was pretty busy with a steady stream of diners. Will certainly be back.

A fully re-furbished 1820's Coaching Inn, originally built by the 3rd Duke of Northumberland. Beautiful bar, lounge and restaurant, immaculately decorated and next to the River Coquet. Six luxury en-suite rooms, accredited 5* by Quality in Tourism/Visit E
So... we arrived for our meal at 1.30 and were welcomed and shown to our table. Drink orders were taken and food orders placed. Quite a long wait for food and no offer of more drinks while we waited? Food arrived but one meal missing. Food very average and for the following reasons:Steak and Ale pie was supposed to be homemade? Looked bought in and pastry very tough. Not much filling and steak chewy.Burgers a huge disappointment. Brioche buns dry and burgers tough and dry. Chips with steak pie not very good and not many of them? Peas with steak pie very dry and shrivelled up! Puddings not much better. Tiny little dish for custard with a huge kids portion of crumble? At no point were we offered more drinks and we were there for 2 hours. Asked for military discount and asked to show an ID card. All in all a very disappointing experience and customer care not good. Food very average and will be going to the Ridley Arms next time. Dear GuestWe apologise if you feel we did not meet your expectations on your recent visit. Having spoken to our duty manager, we were of the opinion that there weren't any problems, as when we checked back on your table when food had arrived, there were no comments passed onto us. Had you mentioned any items not to your liking then, we would have most certainly dealt with anything we could. Rest assured our pies are made from scratch in-house.We are also sorry if we offended you in any way by asking for ID; I'm sure you can appreciate when we are offering a substantial 25% discount to military personnel, it is normal practice to request ID from customers. We value your custom and hope you will consider us in the future.Vanessa CGuest Relations
