A lovely, comfortable, relaxed friendly pub. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade pie and the perfectly cooked crumbles complete with plenty of (requested) extra custard but what really made it for us was the hostess. Nothing was too much trouble and within minutes she was treating us like an old friend. This pub is now our go to place for eating in Hythe.

A multi award winning gastro pub and B&B at the foot of the Wye Downs. The Kings Head all about quality: quality of food, quality of service, and quality of environment. We strive for perfection, all the while aiming to maintain a relaxed and friendly pla
We have eaten here before and it was the obvious choice for our wedding breakfast, made even more so because of the hotel above. This is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner, or indeed breakfast, with local sourced food and drink, but a wide selection of wines from further afield. We were looked after by friendly and professional staff whose visible smiles didn't shift despite our loud enjoyment, sorry to the other diners, and the wedding balloons and very eco-unfriendly plastic table decorations which we were still picking up at breakfast, which was every bit as wonderful as dinner. We live locally and unreservedly recommend The Kings Head restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner and we can't wait to come back again soon.

4 adults went here for Sunday lunch. The carvery was well presented and everything was hot. Best roast beef I have had in a long time. Portions were on the large side including the crumble for dessert. Would recommend. Only downside is the resturant is very cosy

Sitting conveniently midway between the town centre and the seafront just up from the canal, The Hope Inn is a family friendly country style pub with cosy bars, a large enclosed beer garden and a separate 40+ seater restaurant. With its friendly and welco
Me and my folks stayed at the Stade Court hotel down the road and the food there is rubbish. On the last evening of our stay, we and some friends decided to go to the pub down the road and was âHope Innâ (hoping) to get some good food in our bellies. We were not disappointed.I had fish and chips with salad on the side. The portion of my dish and the other plates were full up. We were well fed.My mum had a Spanish omelette and cut a piece of for me, that was tasty as well. After dinner I and my mum decided to share a caramel and apple pie... I wish I had my own now haha. It was lush.Thank you for your review. Glad you enjoyed your meal.

We are proud to announce the recent management change. Situated in the beautiful town of Hythe, the Red Lion is a perfectly situtated for all types of visitors. Close to the beach and only 30 minutes away from Canterbury. Close to Dover, why not spend a f
Enjoyed Sunday roast for six. Pre-booked a table, which turned out to be wise. The menu offered several mains, including chicken, roast beef, pork, lamb, and a vegetarian option. The vegetables were plentiful and served family style. The meals were hearty. The service was warm. Parking was a challenge.

The Britannia is a friendly contemporary pub located only a few hundred yards from the seafront promenade. It is situated in a hamlet outside the picturesque town of Hythe, with its interesting shops and architecture, Royal Military Canal and Romney Hythe
Walked downhill from the nearby Holiday Inn Express with a colleague for a few drinks.Very hospitable host and the hand pulled beer was excellent. Intended to eat, but never got round to it! Wasn't busy, but the locals were friendly. The landlord kindly booked us a taxi back to the hotel.Recommended- both the Britannia & the Landlord

Nine of us gathered for a weeknight meal. Plenty to choose from the menu. We shared some starters: the whitebait was lovely, as were the mushroom starters. The steaks were rare as ordered and the beef sizzling dishes were packed with quite spicy meat, lovely sweet potato chips and a light coleslaw. One reason for our choice of this restaurant is the lovely varied choice of vegetarian meals. Both the veggie and the mushroom stroganoff were voted delicious. We have eaten here many times and will definetly be returning.

while visiting family in Hythe we had an evening meal for 4 at the White Hart. The whole experience exceeded all expectations. I was just expecting your average pub grub, but i was wrong. We arrived on a Thursday night without a reservation. The place was very very busy. We did manage to get a table. The atmosphere was great, lots of people enjoying the food etc. The specials menu was impressive, i wanted the fish chowder but it had already sold out (good sign). I had the hake fillet instead and it was delicious and fresh. The waitress (short blonde hair) was so friendly and welcoming! We had a good laugh and joke with her. Thank you to her for taking care and recommending the delicious desserts. Highly recommend the White Hart :-)
