After visiting another pub in Yarmouth attempting to purchase a quick bite, with my coeliac husband, we were beginning to despair. Thank heavens for "The Kings Head" - what a discovery, and marvellous choice of gluten free cusine. We opted for the delicious homemade broccoli and stilton soup, served with a baguette AND gluten free bread for my husband. The roaring log fire was welcoming and the staff so friendly. We look forward to returning when we're next in Yarmoutth.

Came over to the island for a few days last minute, previously ate at the Sun Inn twice in our visit in May. We returned and were not disappointed. Plenty of gluten free choices on offer. Separate menu, special board is clearly marked. They have good grasp of cross contamination. I had the homemade cottage pie, but other choices include burgers, chips and onion rings. This is a typical island county pub so donât expect grand surroundings but the food is wonderful and the welcome is warm. Highly recommend

We were greeted by a very friendly and funny barman. We ordered dinner, which was delicious, and were looked after by a lovely waitress. We didnât need pudding but they were too tempting to resist! Am glad we didnât resist as they too were delicious. The landlord chatted to us and recommended a few places to visit. Overall an excellent evening. Thank you!

Unfortunately since the re opening this pub has gone downhill fast, lack of atmosphere and warmth (even in the summer).Inexperienced staff are not interested in customers or creating any atmosphere or engaging in conversation.Used to be a great pub for locals and visitors but think it will be empty through the winter - locals have migrated elsewhere in search of friendly faces.

Youâll spot this pub as you walk from the ferry terminal towards The Square. Initial looks can be deceiving as the interior is a mishmash of design which really doesnât gel (and as for the toilets.....) outside to rear is a large beer garden and bar shack which I guess is open during summer months. However, thereâs a decent range of ales on offer and we certainly enjoyed our lunchtime meals.Thank you. We are embarking on a full re furb in January so hope you will return to see the changes! The Bugle Team.

We came across the Boat House by chance, although had heard about it, stopped off for lunch and we were not disappointed, sat on the beach having lunch it was stunning. Lovely staff, food was extremely good, surroundings overlooking the sea, and its dog friendly, we will be back with our four legged friends.

Why not come and enjoy the spectacular surroundings of The Waterfront. With some of the best sunsets in England, our beachside pub/restaurant really is the place to relax, forget your worries and soak up the great atmosphere.
Fantastic food and really good value. Big portions and really high quality. The waiters were lovely and every member of staff approached my dog with a treat and cuddles. Lovely views on to the waterfront and its free parking if you spend over £30. You can have a lovely stroll down the promenade afterwards and if the tides put, the beach is lovely.

A traditional country pub with flag stone floors and log fire, serving locally sourced food . The pub has its own garden which produces fresh vegetables and herbs all year round. Four real ales are available as well as an extensive wine list.
Firstly this pub is in a great location ( especially if you are following the old railway track from Yarmouth to Freshwater). The pub is well presented with a good range of drinks and food--the lunch time sandwiches are particularly good with great chips. However what lets it down is the service. On the first visit there was only one person behind the bar and although very friendly was clearly under a great deal of pressure. The second visit a coffee that was ordered took me 3 times to ask where it wasA little sad because a great little pub with some good food
