Small, quirky, independent bar/eatery...knocking out great breakfast/brunch, coffee as well as supplying a range of quality beer, cider, wine & spirits. POW!
Found this late on a Friday night. Initially very quiet with a good range of wines, a couple of draught beers and a barrel of ale. As it doesn't seem to a large pub, it can get full easily. Good atmosphere, both quiet or otherwise and the pub allows you to bring in your own food (there's a good local Chinese takeaway). Very clean, comfortable and dog friendly

THE DOLPHIN Inn is quickly emerging as the place to be !. Situated on Market Street, Dartmouth, the new Dolphin has an increased light, airy and welcoming interior, following a detailed and carefully planned renovation. Open from 11am to 11pm, Monday to S
From the outside this looked like a real ale pub. Flowers were lovely and a welcoming awaited...or so we thought!Customer: 'What coffees do you do please?'Bar Lady: Black or whiteCustomer:'Could you do something like an Americano?'Bar Lady: I do black or white so what will it be?Oh dear, this is not good service. Then my elderly father, who I had taken out for the day, asked:Customer: 'What real ale do you have please'Bar Lady: Dark or lightCustomer: 'What is the dark ale please'Bar Lady: Erm, it's dark! Now this is feeling very rude. The staff were rather patronisingly and I felt like I was putting the bar lady out just by being a customer. This is poor service at its worst. The toilets are not clean (mens), the spiral staircase carpet is not all that safe for the elderly and the toilets have pornography all over the walls and ceiling (should be interesting taking a child to the toilet and having to explain that away). All-in-all not an inspiring visit. As a customer I can be forgiving with investment in property as times are hard but poor service is non-negotiable. Having no empathy for elderly people trying to enjoy their day out is very bad. It took the edge off my old Dad's day out. Shame on you the person who served us.

Famous for Fine Food, Service and Hospitality. The Cherub Inn dates from 1380 and still retains many of its original features, including some old ships' timbers, and its original use is thought to have been as a Merchant's House. It is the oldest building
It is crab I know. But nearly £9 pounds for a sandwich. I think itâs a little bit over the top. After all 2 slices of bread . Ok I suppose itâs Dartmouth. Iâve had business in Glastonbury for years & never gone for hits. I see that in this pub you can get 40p off a pint if your a camra club member. Perhaps I should be a member of some club. I am sorry you feel this way but crab is an expensive sea food and usually have good feed back from our seafood based meals/sandwiches and that they are good value for money, our crab is locally sourced and fresh, our pints are priced for the area and are one of the lowest in town, camera memberships do get discount of around 70p but they do pay for the privalages within that club.

Turning up on spec on a July Sunday lunchtime - perhaps we were lucky - with a family group of 6, we were surprised to get a table, and even more surprised when the food turned up so promptly. Right by the Dittisham pier, it is a lovely place to people watch and also to savour the history framed around the walls. Very steep approach from the road into the village and no parking unless the tide is out. Avoid and park at the top of the hill. Well recommended. Is reservable, I believe. Probably worth doing.

Visited with family. Meal was OK. Asked woman at bar about toilets for my disabled father, I was told hang on a minute! I was then ignored for the next five minutes when she proceeded to serve everyone else around me even though there was someone else serving at the same time. I eventually said "are you going to help me or.." to which I received a huff and a puff. Had to just walk out in the end. Appalling attitude after just spending 85 pounds there. Won't be back.

Bayards Cove Inn is the perfect place to come for a relaxing meal. We serve breakfast, lunches and delicious meals in the evening. Live music every Friday and Sunday nights.
We have just returned from a 6 day visit to Dartmouth. Having been for dinner here earlier in the year, we made sure we booked to go again, twice in fact. The first night was with our daughter and grandson and they fitted us in early which is what we wanted having a 9 month old dining with us. Food, service, friendliest staff and of course great food which only made us want to go back the following night with our friends who live locally. Well done Bayardâs Cove we will be back!

Visited twice in our short stay in Dartmouth. This is a popular local with plenty of locals mixing with the tourists. All gives it a nice busy atmosphere with a fine choice of real ales. Staff all busy & smiling made it a must go back Pub!

Wow what a find! The most amazing view watching the sun go down behind Dartmouth, just stunning. This is the friendliest pub Iâve visited, Jamie made us and our dog very welcome. Great selection of gin to choose from and the pizza was delicious, I had Brie little pigs and I donât know what they do to their chips but they are very tasty. Really good live music, buzzing atmosphere. I would highly recommend an evening here.
