Traditional country pub serving homemade quality food from our traditional menu alongside our specials created from fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients . Something for everyone from light bites and nibbles to a full a la Carter meal .
We were a party of 29 people including 4 children for our family christmas meal, an annual celebration. We pre-ordered using mainly the christmas menu but for some the normal menu. The staff and chef provided a brilliant service given the number of people eating all at once, no-one having to wait too long for their food. The food was all cooked well and with generous portions and we didn't have one complaint at all from any of the diners. I would definitely recommend them for both large parties or couples dining together, it's got a family friendly pub atmosphere. Thank you to all staff for a lovely family day.

Often over in Colne to visit friends and we usually have tea at Wetherspoons - food is tasty, staff are friendly and polite - my only grumble is the last 3 visits Iâve ordered fish and chips and they havenât had any!!! I had scampi which was delicious but Iâd much prefer the fish
Great fresh breakfast in the sun with Su and Bessie (the dog). Very friendly staff and food was clearly well sourced and fresh. I had the omelet (beacon &, cheese) with Su having the English breakfast. Toast and beans was provided to share. Will definitely return and next time go inside (dog friendly).

We are a great local pub that offers excellent food and beverages 365 days a year, whilst maintaining the value for money our guests deserve.
Visited for fathers day breakfast last Sunday.Food came out quickly and was good. We like do do a build your own breakfast from the 60p per item list, which they are happy to do.Only complaint is we asked for toast (which was unlimited) but it never came. The waitress came back after we had finished (30 mins after requesting toast) and said she had forgotten as was too busy!Woobywou, reviews like this give us motivation and help us ensure we provide high-quality care. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if there's anything more we can do!Kind regards,The Morris Dancers.

We visited on a Thursday evening which is their special gammon night at a reduced price. Three of our party had the Gammon which I felt took care of one pig due to the amount of meat. It was excellently cooked and presented by friendly staff. Three of us also chose other dishes that were tasty, well cooked and plenty on the plate. The restaurant is like stepping back in time in its decor but very welcoming and we felt really relaxed in it. Thanks to all the staff for their service and care in presenting a lovely evening.

Rural pub with 4 ensuite guest rooms in the old joinery. Open fires serving fabulous home cooked food. Cask ales, great wine and Gin selection. Dog friendly in certain areas.
I have stayed here for a couple of weeks and enjoyed both stays. There are only four rooms and they are comfortable and high standard. Breakfast is included in the room price which is very reasonable. The breakfast is very tasty and high quality. I usually have one of each of the cooked options each day, smoked haddock and poached eggs on muffin, eggs florentine, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs in muffin and full English. They are all really tasty and good portions. In comparison to other places I have stayed the evening menu is small but the food is home cooked to a very high standard again good portions of good food at reasonable prices. Both times I stayed I have received a really warm welcome and the staff are friendly and attentive.I would definitely stay again if I am in the area and recommend it fully.

Pleased to report our previous visit appears to have been a 'blip' - Diane & I enjoyed a fantastic meal on our first visit but this wasn't the case a few days later when we found the fare entirely ordinary. Armed with vouchers by way of compensation for our disappointment, we booked for Sunday Lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meals (Diane had beef, I had lamb). Thanks, we'll call again when next in the area!Fantastic to hear!Kindest regardsNina

Situated on the road from Colne to Skipton, the Black Lane Ends is a pub with 360 degree views of the surrounding farms and moorland. Itâs reasonably remote and yet attracts a fair number of âlocalsâ in the bar. The beer is cold, the food is well prepared, well cooked and presented attractively by smiling young bar staff. Food is served all day so getting an early meal to suit elderly relatives or young children is not a problem. The specials boards change almost daily. We had two starters and two main courses from the special board + 2 1//2 pints of peroni lager came to £42.

We regret that we are no longer serving food. Our cosy bar will be open from 4pm every day for you to sample a wide range of cask ales, lagers and wines together with a varied selection of non alcoholic drinks.
This is currently one of our favourite restaurants. Went with family after prebooking a table. Always served quickly with food and drinks. At around £100 for four people with starts and mains including drinks, great value, never fails. The owners and the waitresses make you feel at home and that nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely homely food and not overpriced, we will return.

Professionally run by (apparently) an excellent team of ladies. Friendly, good service. Home-cooked, fresh food (the pie was excellent). Vibrant atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. Just fitted us in without booking mid-week in October, so suggest booking to be sure most of the time.
