Edmundo Lounge is an informal, neighbourhood food led cafe/bar where families, friends and local residents can come for a coffee and something to eat.
Lovely venue, comfy chair and sofas as well as proper tables. We sat upstairs, lots of lovely nooks and crannies! Found a brilliant table of crayons, books and colouring pads for our 3 year old son. Had tapas to share which was delicious, and children's menu is also good. Very relaxing and friendly.Hi Chembabe76,Many thanks for your review, we love to cater for both big and little loungers alike so we are glad your little one enjoyed the activities! we hope to see you in some of our comfy chairs again soon!Kindest RegardsRachel and the Edmundo team

The Old Cannon is a Brewery, Bar, Brasserie and Bed & Breakfast. Our brasserie menu (Cannon Fodder) changes with the seasons and has starters and main dishes for all tastes and appetites and, if you are still ready for more, our puddings and British cheese
We stayed at The Old Cannon Brewery for a 2 night stopover to explore Bury and Lavenham. Everything about The Old Cannon was perfect : a warm welcome on arrival, a comfortable room with powerful shower, a superb location and an excellent breakfast (Gundaughter sausages were to die for) served by the endlessly helpful Fabio. We're definitely coming again next year as there was loads to do in the area that we never managed to see. Can't wait!

We were turned away from another restaurant and stumbled by this one. They were friendly courteous and quick! The food was tasty and the menu eclectic. The burgers were lush and you can build your own!The childrenâs menu was different but the kids enjoyed both and the childs steak even made me jealous!I was also impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere.Highly recommend!Thank you for your review. We try to be different in all things we do, including our children's menu. We think children should be able to get the same great food as everyone else, and that's exactly what we offer. We're pleased you've discovered us and hope you get a chance to discover all the different things we offer.

At The Tavern on St John's, we want to create a relaxed, friendly, classic pub atmosphere. So, to go along with that, we felt the ideal food offering would be a fun and informal menu that encourages the idea of sharing. Small plates of wonderful, fresh, h
Went to the Tavern for lunch today and found that they were serving Sunday roast which was a nice surprise! I ordered the Roast Beef with horseradish and my partner ordered Pork with crackling and apple sauce and a side of sausage meat stuffing. Both came with a homemade Yorkshire, roast potatoes and veg. It was the best roast we have had in ages and defo best in Bury. Service was great as well. We highly recommend!

Headed here for dinner on a Thursday night. Really busy so would recommend booking - had to play pool for 45 mins before we got a table. Food was delicious - starters especially. Spanish meatballs lovely. Chicken burger bit dry but still good. Really amazing for coeliacs. Huge gluten free selection - staff and chefs so knowledgeable and helpful - a cut above most eateries. Would certainly come back

The Blue Boar is a Traditional Country pub set in the Beautiful Village of Walsham-le-Willows. We served good quality, homemade food and all ingredients are sourced from suppliers within a 10 mile radius of the pub. The Blue Boar is a family run business
Excellent staff, and a reasonably priced lunchtime menu. Evening menu is similar to most places i.e. not very adventurous, and for what it is, a little pricey. However the food quality and ingredients are very good especially the steaks, which are excellent and prepared exactly as you ask. Fish is good too.

We know that not everyone wants the same thing from a pub. You might want a pint of local real ale at the bar ... A bottle of wine and a grazing board on the sofas ... A meal in the dining room ... A really good coffee and a read of the paper ... Take you
The restaurant area is very cosy and welcoming - a bit rowdy at the bar when you're coming through to the restaurant though, even early on a Saturday evening. I was with a hen party and the staff were lovely to us though and even got a bit involved with our hen games. The wine flights were spot on too, what a fab idea. My starter of arancini balls was probably the best i've tried - however the ricotta stuffed gnudi (a bit like gnocchi) weren't great, completely overcooked, dry, tasteless and burnt round the edges and to be honest, quite expensive for what they were. I didn't want to send them back and make a big deal as we were having such a nice time, but I should have done really. Shame, as the whole experience was great, just overdone dumplings! Everyone else really enjoyed their food though and I wished I'd had the chicken or the fish instead (though trying to eat less meat at the moment).
