This was a casual meal with family in the area. The food was great, I loved the fish finger sandwich, and the service was fantastic.

we've eaten here a few times (usually Sunday's and carvery's) and the service and food is usually lovely.Thought we'd chance the 'normal' menu this afternoon and sit outside in the sunshine.. MASSIVE mistake :( Husband had the burger which was ok but not great.. i ordered the sizzling chicken with rice and chips.. first to arrive was the sizzling chicken with a bowl of chips.. 5 minutes or so later the burger and a ham salad for the kids.. (the salad was good but I'm afraid that's where the positivity ends)...no sign of any rice and once I had sorted the kids I turned to eat mine which which was frankly inedible.. the chicken was chewy beyond belief and 2 bites later I returned it to the kitchen.. as it was now just after 2pm food service had stopped and I wasn't actually bothered about waiting for a replacement or alternative.. I politely explained to the lad who came out of the kitchen that I was returning the dish because it was awful.. he asked what was wrong and I explained the chicken issue and he very apologetically said he would tell the chef.. I told him I didn't want a replacement and could he just remove it from our bill.. but as I said that corrected myself and told him we'd already paid as we were sat outside.. he headed off to the kitchen with the full plate saying 'ok don't worry I'll send someone out to sort this out for you'....30 minutes later after everyone else finished their meals and drinks and noone had bothered to come and see us.. we left without a refund or any kind of proper apology.. very disappointing.. Hi Carrie,Thank you for taking the time to write a review, Iâm really sorry you had an alleged disappointing meal from our main menu, the contents does me and Iâll follow this up on my return from annual leave with the team, Iâm currently abroad. This is no excuse either. If you would like to email [email protected] and I will investigate into your experience and redress the situation following my findings too.Once again please accept my apologies, this most certainly is not the norm, we all work hard towards industry standards.Kind regards,Adam

Stayed here with 5 friends and on the strength of the visit booked immediately for a further stay. Hidden away in a housing estate this is not a pub that would attract passing trade however it gets busy and thats great to see, Rooms are very nice... we had 3 twins one was slightly cheaper and this was reflected in the size but it was still very usable. No complaints re comfort etc... breakfast on both days was brilliant and the evening meals we enjoyed on both nights did not disappoint. as i said on the strength of our positive feelings we booked once again. for those people who live local its a great assetDear Ian Thank you for taking the time to post a fantastic review regarding your recent visit to The Woodberry Inn. We sincerely appreciate your comments and are delighted that you enjoyed your dining experience with us.We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind RegardsThe Woodberry Inn

The light bite menu is NOT small and very good value. I had the pie and hubby had the lasagne. He was surprised that the helping seemed normal sized! Staff were attentive and nothing too much trouble.

Four of us came just before Christmas. Our daughter and son in law from Australia had come before and enjoyed a lovely meal. This time the service was poor. We had to go and find the waitress to ask for more drinks. She did not clear the dirty glasses from the table, The menu was very restricted. We have eaten here before and had lovely meals but this has put us off I,m afraid

BamBoo Wine Bar is at 15 Bridge Street and has quickly become the friendliest bar in town. With it's close association with Tanners Wine Merchants and its daytime menu of simple homemade cooking an afternoon snack can soon turn into a glass or two of wine
I just wanted a light lunch, so chose an omelette. The service was second to none. The omelette was enormous accompanied by salad and coleslaw. I'm afraid I couldn't do it justice. I can't praise the waiter enough. Will definitely be making a return visit when I'm next in the area.

Good, Home cooked Pub Grub.
Very quirky building loads of clocks of various styles decorate the place and quite a history when you read the back of the menu. Excellent choice on our part .We chose the baked potatoes, mine had loads of tasty Cheddar cheese and my husbands was full of prawns. The potatoes were obviously freshly cooked and stayed hot to the last mouthful. Enjoyable visit.

We were in Bridgnorth for a one night stay and had been recommended here by our hotel manager. What a great recommendation it was! We loved the ambience of the courtyard bar for afternoon drinks and the inside bar was cosy and warm. We ate lunch here then came back in the evening and had an exceptional meal in the restaurant upstairs with first class service. There was a great feel about the place as it was busy and we would return if we ever visit Bridgnorth again.
