Take away order, missing food, wrong food arrived and the quality was not what it was.We have visited this restaurant many many times and over the last year the quality, quantity and value for money has plummeted. Time to move on!

Wow - what a find ! The food here is not only completely delicious it is also of the highest quality. You can tell every curry is authentic and cooked using all the individual spices and herbs. My chicken tikka pathia was amazing, which I had with a delicious side of stir fried mixed vegetables. Even the popadoms were amazing quality - no taste at all of cooking oil and deliciously crispy - served with thick good quality dips. The menu has a great choice with some unusual but tempting sounding options. The service was friendly and helpful too. Definitely the best restaurant for miles around !

Mirchi indian & bangladeshi restaurant is on the outskirts of bloxwich in a lovely estate.were there is a lovely pub for people to go and have a drink and come over for a good meal.as we have not got alcohol licence we allow our guest to bring there own d
Really bad experience tonight, waited too long for poppadoms, then waited too long to order main. Main arrived without table being cleared of side plates for poppadoms, nowhere to put down curry plates etc. Staff really unhelpful. Very very noisy with a rowdy crowd in. Have had some good meals in the past, it will be a while before I bother to go in there again.Thank you for your review regarding your experience at the Mirchi but I would like a few things about your night you booked a table for 10 and came in with 12 people expecting that would be ok being a Thursday which you then realised it wasnât because it was a pack restaurant on a Thursday but we still managed to get the other two extra friends in to sit with you after a few minute wait but we are not âhelpfulâ.we attempted to clean your table but some of your friends wanted to hold on to the popodoms but thatâs something you may not heard but quick to criticise the staff, and regarding the noise am sorry but if itâs a full restaurant and the drinks are flowing it would get slightly loud.you also mentioned you have had some good meals at the Mirchi but I canât see you make the effort to right us a good review.our doors are always open for you and hopefully you will have a better time thank you.Maz

Iâm not saying this because itâs my mates dads restaurant but they genuinely took a traditional Indian restaurant, and got the imperfections of a traditional restaurant and perfected them. Because I knew the gaffers son they hooked us up and it was the best experience I ever hadThe waiter was sooooo chill and was just a G. Also I ordered a king prawn korma and the prawns were as big as the traditional chicken slices which are huge and also the presentation of the food and tables was so nice! Like all the best Indian restaurants it filled me up to the perfect amount. They gave us an after eight after the meal and the spicy popadom sauce (which I usually avoid) was the perfect amount of spice for me because I usually try the spicy sauce for a new restaurant and everyone was happy and beaming. The only downside was the wait for the food was a little long but thatâs expected for a popular restaurant. If your looking for a nice Indian restaurant go to golden moments because it is one of if not the best restaurants I have ever tried. I have to complain thereâs no 6 star or 7 star because itâs so good.

My friend and I eat here every first Monday in the month and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the food is superb, delicious every time, it never wavers and is excellent value for money. The staff are just lovely, so friendly and funny and, as regular customers for the last 2 years, we really feel at home.Compliments to all the staff - you're great!

I went to this restaurant in September with my family, staff and the manager could not have been any more helpful, they were extremely welcoming and attentive. I was really excited to try different dishes due to amazing reviews on this website, I must say the quality and texture of the food wasn't anything like described in the reviews. It was sub-standard, to put it mildly. We had to return the butter chicken dish- it was just so sweet and characterless, to their credit they gave us another dish which wasn't particularly good. Either we were extremely unlucky to have such a bad food experience or something not right about the reviews. I would happily give 5/5 for hospitality, it can't justify any more than 2/5 for taste. I simply unsure if ours was an isolated incident- i hope that is the case-I was bitterly disappointed.
