..We haven't been in the Dilshad for a long, long time, more fools us!. The food was brilliant you could really identify different spices and herbs I have never really noticed these before, I would say it is better than some Indian restaurant's in the area. £66.00 for four five course meals with drinks?? Would we go back..defiantly..

Indian food at its best, traditional curry in modern times, Fully licensed and take-away available. EST 1993- Need we say any more!
Called here on a Sunday evening with friends. Ordered from the £13.99 set meal which is good value. Nice surrounding with a car park. Staff friendly &" helpful food cooked well with good portion sizes. Started with a favorite chicken chaat puri, followed by thawa chicken Tikka both delicious. With a side order egg fried rice for me then ice cream & coffee to follow rounded of with a Bailey's. Not sure if this is standard as we were quite a large group. Would call again as a good enjoyable experience

Eating in seems to be expensive to me , 2 adults and 2 children , ordered popadoms, 2 healthy chicken curry dishes, 1 chicken nuggets childrenâs meal , 1 chips , 1 nan bread , 1 rice, 2 pints of Diet Coke and 2 orange spritzers = £55 and a few pence . I canât get my head around the rice not being included with the main course , when the main course costs £9.95 . Iâm not a skinflint , but do feel we should of had more for the money . I canât criticise the food , it was very tasty . I can criticise the online menu not matching the menu prices in the restaurant .

Come here a lot with family and Christmas time, family tradition and new additions to the family, itâs imperative for it!! Usually the Christmas time, as busy as it is itâs usually perfect for us, very friendly and accommodating but when it comes to take out it changes completely, rude staff, no attentive to their customers and very poor quality food.We will remain for Christmas as itâs our tradition but not to sure about take out as the food has dropped and the quality isnât the best.Hope to see improvements.

We had a groupon voucher, 2 courses, rice n naan for 4! Starters were delicious (chicken chaat puri especially) we chose a chicken tikka korma, lamb dansak, chicken kahari (which was very tasty) and a lamb makon. All the curries apart from the kahari were only warm. I like my curry piping hot in temperature. However, the food is fresh! Friendly service but a little on the slow side as one of them did the deliveries too. They are having a food festival on 11-15 April, sounds interesting! We will be going to that! Nice restaurant, prices reasonable n parking on the opposite side (carpark). We will go back.

If you want to feel like you have been ripped off go to this place.Poor service (as in just another punter has come in to give us some money),bland food (chicken in my case)that tastes like it has been reheated all in a place decorated like a 1980's disco.Overall......not worth the trouble.

This rather spacious and stylish restaurant is situated just out side of Ashton-Under-Lyne within striking distance of Oldham, Tameside and Manchester. There is ample parking and within close proximity to public transport. The moment you walk into this restaurant you are treated to a splendid aroma of Indian spices that make you want to stay and try everything. The menu is amazing. It list a wide variety of Indian (and surrounding countries) dishes, featuring all the classics and traditional dishes. Its hard to decide what to have because it all looks tempting. The menu itself is very user friendly as it list dishes that contain nuts, lactose and gluten. The food is outstanding. So tasty and delicious and fairly good portions too. You can wash down your meal with a variety of drinks both soft and alcoholic. It can get busy at times so it may be advisable to book ahead. We didn't book but the restaurant managed to find us a table so we got lucky there. The service was very swift, friendly and the waiters left you alone enough to enjoy the experience. It sort of ticks all the boxes, the food is delicious, there is ample choice and its reasonably priced, and for those of you who are not fans of Indian food there is a (albeit limited) selection of English food. The restraint also offers a take away service too,
