Went on a Friday night it was busy but the service was exceptional and the food deliciously fresh and tasteful and not greasy at all. Never disappointed when I come here !Thoroughly recommend.

From the very well known restaurant Potters Bar Tandoori opened back in 1991, now brings back the former owners to open the new Indian restaurant Tamarind Fusion. Nostalgia at its finest. Combining special flavours from different parts of South Asia inclu
We arrived on the off chance at this restaurant on a Friday evening; having read the reviews on Tripadvisor, and we are so glad that we came. What a SUPER restaurant this is!!We were warmly welcomed, even though we had not booked, and shown to a lovely table by a radiator as the Owner spotted that one of our party was cold - that is a service you don't see very often. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The portions were large without you feeling overfull. Each of us had a different dish, and each dish was just as gorgeous. We had a super time; and we were not rushed in any way. When the bill arrived, it was more than reasonably priced for such delicious food - which was also a lovely surprise. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and warmly minimalist - a paradox in itself!. Having spoken to the Owner, he told us that the restaurant has only been open for about 5 months and they are planning a whole range of culinary activities. We decided then and there, that we want to book the New Year celebrations. This is a wonderful restaurant and will be our go-to place whenever we visit Potters Bar. Just loved it!!Thank you Copperskid for a lovely review. It made everybody's day here at Tamarind. This is what we work so hard to achieve. It is really nice to hear that you felt our efforts. We always go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied in every way and if something is not right then we make an effort to put it right. We'll inform you of our new years eve party in due course. Many Thanks and hope to see you again soon.

Trawling through TripAdvisor we came upon this little golden nugget of Indian culinary excellence. On arrival you fear the worst. The local Chingford crowd are friendly enough but seemed slightly surprised that we'd bother to "dress up" (I was wearing trousers rather than jeans and a graphic "T") and there was a level of gawking usually only reserved for clicky country pubs.Anyhoo, the restaurant staff were ultra-friendly. They complimented my wife on her choice of dress and they whisked us through the staring diners to a comfortable table midway through the somewhat regimented layout. Endless waves of smiling, helpful waiters (I counted 6, including the owner) popped up at out table offering menus and drinks and at least two of them merely attended our table to enquire as to our general wellbeing. The menu is quite long with an almost endless array of dishes all sensibly priced (in fact, they seemed worryingly cheap). However, I needn't have worried at all as the food at Voujon is beautifully presented and very, very tasty.Delicately prepared rices, wonderful fresh, fluffy naan breads and generous mains made from good quality staples of chicken and lamb all amounted to a sumptuous feast. Never stodgy, never over-spiced and with a wonderful attention to detail. There are nostalgic twists like the laminated desert menus featuring the deserts of yesteryear (not sure if these are intended to be so but they were great fun nonetheless). Wine list is basic and could probably do with a revamp but you don't go to an Indian restaurant for the wine as the curries knock-out the palate and Kingfisher and Cobra are usually the best route to take.As we wound down and stroked our bellies our waiter (Aran) introduced himself formally and presented my wife with a box of Maltesers - nice touch! In all, an authentic local curry-house experience - almost a throwback to the 70s and 80s but with good modern-day service levels and truly lovely food.

It's three years since my last review and with an updated menu it's time for another. This restaurant always exceeds expectations and I didn't think it could improve from then but with a few additions to the menu it really is now outstanding. We've always enjoyed the great food and hospitality - nothing is too much trouble for these boys - it's now been part of our weekly life since they opened but with a couple of new favourites on the menu, the food choice is astonishing for a local restaurant and the decision on what to have becomes increasingly difficult. It's always fantastic.Unfortunately, I've been forced on numerous occasions to visit other Indian restaurants in the area, not through choice, which is always a huge disappointment compared to Radhuni. This place is all you need. Eat in or take out. Don't bother going anywhere else.

I had visited this establishment over a year ago and was amazed at the quality of food, the level of service, the outstanding level of hygiene, and a Very capable and professional service team. However as the saying goes one swallow doesnât make a summer, so I decided I had to test this restaurant several times over the past year, and without exception they maintain a level of services and excellence which itâs hard to find.I have nothing but praise for this restaurant And look forward to every visit. Please understand this is a proper restaurant and not some outback canteen.Speak to the staff, if you want your food hotter they will make it hotter, if you wish for your food to be milder, they will make it milder. As far as the waiters are concerned, I have noticed their default position is complete service! so as soon as your bottom hits the chair they are on you like a rash, however if you ask them to give you time you can have as long as you need. As always pricing is balanced, respectable and you get value for money. Many thanks See you soon

Best Indian in Enfield, by far! Great service and value for money also! My family who are extremely hard to impress, enjoyed this very much. Itâs been our go to place for quite sometime and weâve never been disappointed!

If your looking for a wonderful Indian meal then look no further, this restaurant has the finest Indian cuisine to make your mouth water. The food is authentic & the staff are most willing to suggest the type of food to suit your taste, the restaurant is kept immaculate & you feel at home from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. The prices are reasonable but as it is a popular restaurant it is advisable to book in advance...

Been here several times and the food is always very good the 10.99 meal deal is on Mondays and Tuesday and I would highly recommend it. The servers in here are friendly. Couldnât recommend this place enough the only criticism I have is that the deserts are not that great. But all in all itâs very good.

Been a loyal customer for years but tonight on Valentine's night thought it would be nice to get a takeaway from these. Phoned a few times after waiting for an hour and half for them to keep telling me its on its way. It's now been two hours since ordering the food and still hasn't arrived. Now phoned another takeaway. Will not be using this people again absolute disgusted with them.
