My husband and I ordered a mixed biryani, chicken biryani and a peshwari naan. Unfortunately the mixed biryani (which is chicken, lamb and prawn) there was not one prawn in it! It wasnât the best biryani weâve had but it was ok but when you order something and part of it is missing is really annoying. On the plus side the peshwari naan was lovely and the meals arrived lovely and hot plus the young girl taking the order has great interpersonal skills.Really sorry to hear that you never received your order in full, please if you do order from us in the future let us know if anything your not happy with. We would do our upmost to rectify any issues. Thanks Team Maharajâs

I normally order from Brunton Park where a tikka roll is £3. Tried Ralkhi, was £5.75 with no salad or sauce. 2 starters and 2 rolls was £19, not worth half that. Back to Brunton Park for us.

Passed by last night so called in for meal. Small but nice restaurant with nice waiters although one of them banged everything down on our table but mustn't have been personal as did it to other tables too! Menu is very varied and wine list reasonable too. The food was absolutely tremendous in quality and quantity, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and (despite said waiter slamming stuff down!)we'd return. Car park to rear. In an odd location (next to petrol station off the A1)but well worth seeking out as the food really was excellent.

Lal Qila was my favourite Indian restaurant/Takeaway in Cramlington but this has overtaken it. The food is fantastic and well priced! Being a veggie can be a boring choice for takeaway food but the guys will make pretty much anything you ask for and make it as hot as you like - or not as the case may be.Food is always cooked fresh and to order so you can expect to wait 10-20 mins, sometimes longer at really busy times. its better to ring your order in and then collect to reduce your wait time if you can - better still place your order then go over to the Brockwell Seam for a drink whilst you wait. :) Enjoy :)

UN-licensed Restaurant. Bring your own alcohol as we only sell soft drinks.
First review I have written on trip advisor, such is the quality of my evening in this restaurant. Lovely warm welcome followed by quality food prepared efficiently for me and my family of four. Nothing was too much trouble and a lovely hello from a little girl called Emma! Will return in a heartbeat.

Visited on Thursday night, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. One of the starters ordered came with chicken rather than prawns but was yummy anyway. When we left they had made me a prawn one to take home with me - even though I had said it didn't matter - what service!!!!!!!! It was nice to see the restaurant busier than usual as it is that good it should be full all the time.

This is the 2nd time my family have had a takeaway from red Naga and the last time was poor but we chose not to advertise it, on this occasion I will. This was the poorest Indian I have had in the UK for many years having travelled the world for the last 8 years my knowledge and experience has led me to know what a âgood balanced Indian/Bangladeshiâ meal is.1. The mixed biryani lacked chicken extremely limited lamb and the âshrimpâ should of been âprawnâ well I know the difference so trying to pass it off as prawn is not of merchantable quality.2. The chicken tikka main was dry beyond belief and lacked flavour... to much mes on plas I think.3. The rogan josh was a concoction of flavours and lacked the layers of flavour that it should of had.Improve guys this is not good...... donât con the public with the âNagaâ it wonât work Thanks for the feedback Mr Graham,We have no qualms with negative reviews (All places get them regardless of how good the establishment is or isn't you will be challenged to find anywhere on TripAdvisor without at least a few negative reviews if they have received a moderately large amount of my reviews). My problem with the above review is that like so many previous reviews of the same ilk it was more than likely written out of anger to vent frustration that has no other outlet... apart from1, To physically batter me the owner (Which in a developed society governed by laws and the general integrity of most people you simply won't).2, Get on your keyboard and vent that frustration in anger and try to damage our reputation and/or business. Now let's not pretend for a second you know more about a "good balanced Indian/Bangladeshi" meal than the chefs or staff of Red Naga baring in mind this is close knit community (Bangladeshi community who run most if not all Indian establishments). Therefore everyone pretty much knows everything so all establishments you have eaten at in the north east we will know the chefs and owners and probably worked alongside them for years. Travelling the world does not constitute as making you an expert on 'Indian/Bangladeshi' food (what good is the world if we're talking about Indian food specifically). If you are as traveled as you suggest you'd know that authentic real authentic Indian food is quite hard to find (I have only seen the 'Staff curry' at the Gulshan or 'Korma' at Bilash constituting authentic Indian meals and yes we know everyone from them restaurants too it's a close knit community). So my point being we know pretty much what everyone is serving having worked with everyone grown up with everyone in this close knit Bangladeshi community - therefore we are not doing anything so drastically bad/different for this to be your worst meal in the UK... This could be believed if all the other reviews were bad (as someone somewhere has to be the worst) but based on our reviews and repeat customer I highly doubt it.... talking about 'repeat customers' your meal was so bad the first Saturday you ordered it you thought it was a good ideal to order the exact meal again the following Saturday? To say we are conning people... I don't even know how to respond to this and that's probably the main reason I have responded as I have. We opened this business in 2014 I personally was in my late 20's having worked hard my whole life saving trying to start my own business to suggest I would open up a venture and con people and risk my life savings is laughable. Like most businesses when opening the intentions are positive and we thought we could provide a good service/product and we still believe we do to this day. If we are conning people then we must be very good at it as we're conning the same hundreds of people week in week out year after year and getting away with it. We are that good at conning apparently we conned yourself as you ordered the same thing again a week later. To cut a long respond short... If ordering online the 1 hour time slot is an automated response we will respond with a more specific time and in your case it was an hour and a half. If you are unaware how the online ordering systems works I apologise its not perfect but most our customers now understand the system. The driver told me when delivering your order you were under the impression it was late however it was not. If you order again please bare this in mind.Thank you.
