Previously I have had vegetable green Thai curry from here and liked it.Tonight I thought I would have something different. Only for myself I ordered Aromatic Duck and Pad Mee. The duck was awful....nothing aromatic about it at all...just soggy fat chewy duck with no taste. Horrible!The Pad Mee is advertised as seafood with egg, mange tout, baby corn, onion and basil leaf. The seafood consisted of 3 chewy mussels, 3 chewy prawns and some sort of blabber stuff that was inedible. Absolutely no mange tout, corn, onion or basil leaf. Bean sprouts there were about 2 strands.Throwing most of it away!Donât waste your money....Worst take away for a long time! Very disappointing!

Another lovely visit to Amiraâs with a group of friends for an evening meal. Of particular highlight this time were the coconut chilli chicken and also the pudding! I never usually order pudding after curry but the caramel apple pie was delicious. I also enjoyed the dark and stormy cocktail, my absolute favourite. I have experienced a great number of Indian /Asian takeaway outlet across both East and West Sussex because of the nature of my employment.I believe this is the best quality ( and certainly size of portions) I have ever experienced. Whenever I visit the shop - and I find I am even tending to go out of my way to use this outlet and return to overnight accommodation - it is always exceptionally busy but orders are dealt with very quickly and quality is clearly not affected.Prices are mid range compared to other similar outlets, I have never noticed differences in quality when no.2 or no. 3 chef is preparing meals ( which is bound to occur) which is quite different to many other outlets experienced.Thay have recently introduced home delivery which I feel is testament to the quality of their food.

This is by far the best Indian Restaurant I have ever eaten at and this visit didn't disappoint on that score either. If I had one gripe it would be that the Sheek Kebab was not as hot as I would have liked, even after I asked for it to be reheated. Having said that, I still highly recommend this place; if you haven't been yet, go! The staff did absolutely nothing wrong, but I didn't find the serving staff particularly friendly nor interested in our comfort, and this would usually put me off, but because of the wonderful food, I simply don't care. The staff could do with some lessons in how to make people feel welcome in their establishment, but whether the do or don't, I'm still returning!

I love the staff at the Rajdutt, warm and inviting people, but many years back, they changed the layout of the restaurant to an open plan, and it has to be one of the most awful changes they could have made.. It is so uninviting, I'm amazed others don't comment on it..The last thing I want is to see them go under, but they really need to look at other restaurants out there, as the world is moving on.Sorry, but the food also needs a bit of help.., these days where the competition is so strong, you must try to keep up or you will miss the boat.. You only need to look at the food at the Simply Indian - Wadhurst, maybe use that as a benchmark for where they need to be.., equally the Blue Asia just down the road, does excellent food..But By far and away, the layout needs to be changed, its like sitting in someones front room, with the lights turned on full...

As we were at the nearby cinema we called in again for a meal, as we usually do on Picture House visits. It was a very quiet night but the service and food were as good as ever. It's become a reliable venue to us. It's also had a makeover inside. We'll be back I'm sure.

My husband and I decided to visit this restaurant as part of our wedding anniversary celebration, after reading the positive reviews we chose to eat there. We were greeted at the door with a warm welcome, which was really nice. The restaurant was not busy, so we were able to choose our seats. The restaurant was authentically decorated, clean and had a warm feeling. The furniture and decor was high quality, including the menu.The dishes were clear, with a description of the main ingredients to help with selection. There were plenty of fish dishes which was a welcomed change to most restaurants. There was a good selection of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. The dessert menu was very tempting, but after eating my starter and main, I had no space for a dessert.The service was friendly and efficient. We were served pretty quickly. The food was very hot when it arrived, so be careful when taking your first mouthful. It tasted scrumptious and was very filling.The toilet was clean, with clear signage. There was a cloakroom with hooks that corresponded with the tables, which I thought was an excellent feature. There was also CCTV in all areas too.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and probably visit again.
