Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Southampton. Southwest of London is Southampton (Soton to the locals), a metropolitan area centered around the port. However, tucked away on the side streets are ancient gems such as the Tudor House, Mottisfont Abbey, and "God's House," a museum located in a tower in the medieval wall. The ultra-modern Sea City Museum celebrates Southampton's seafaring past and the RMS Titanic. Looking for nightlife? Travelers can dance the hours away with bars, clubs, and live music, all accessible by public transportation.

Great place in St Mary's by the church. Quick, friendly service, varied Asian menu, food was delicious and decent portions, all for a reasonable price.

Everest cuisine provides an authentic Nepalese and Indian food in Southampton, Hampshire. Born in the mountain of the Himalayas this has become a favourite style of food throughout the world. The difference is in the seasoning. Using the finest vegetables
Upon arrival, having booked a reservation online, the staff had no awareness of our group. After a 5 minute embarassing wait, we were shown to a table. The staff had poor English and we struggled to understand what was going on.We did not feel particularly welcome. The service was generally poor being served by a wide range of staff who had little co-ordination between themselves). The options were difficult to understand. I eventually realised that the standard fayre is to go with the set meal (although the a la carte menu was available if you were prepared to wait). We ordered the set meal. The portions were very generous and there was good variety. The quality of food was excellent. If this restaurant could get its customer service better, it could be a 4+ star restaurant.

Kuti's Brasserie is a fine dining Indian restaurant set in a dazzling Grade II listed building on Southampton's Waterfront. Kuti's Brasserie is overseen by Head Chef Ravi Rao, and serves an extensive menu of traditional favourites both for lunch and dinne
Overall the food wasnât too bad. Too brightly lit for our liking, they need to get shut of spotlights and bring in the candles.Lacks tables for two also I know not many people donât want to admit this but Kutiâs gave my husband chronic wind for next two days.... it was our wedding anniversary get away as well.... he was blowing off left right and centre.. it took a full 48 hours to calm it down and it was a cloud over the romantic weekend to say the least. In the end we had to have a chat with the pharmacist in Boots who said we needed to give it time at least a few more days.Dear Guest,We thank you for your visit and for leaving us a review. We will take note of your suggestions about our restaurant regarding lighting and table layouts. I am sorry that your husband's personal issue impacted your weekend, perhaps on a future visit he could choose a different dish, maybe one with less spice! We hope to welcome you both again in future, and we wish you a wonderful wedding anniversary.Kind Regards,Julia

We just went for a quick lunch. We both took Phò Beef with extra meatballs and a large fresh made lemon Ice Tea. We have been to Vietnamese Restaurants at Amsterdam, London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Brussels etc. And this Phò was one of the best we tasted so far. Very clean looking restaurant, friendly service. Will come back again when we are at Southampton!Greetings Bas & Femke from the Netherlands

After hearing rave reviews about Dhaba59 we were really excited to visit it. Itâs in a Great location, the menu was explained really well, great staff and varied drinks menu. We ordered a Dhakaâs platter, chicken tikka, amritsari muchi (fish) pau bhaji, chilli chips with naans and rice. We ordered poppadoms to start and were told the food would be quite quick. We found it to be be around 30 mins before the food came, it wasnât a problem as we were with friends but if weâd been in a rush it round have been different. When the food started to come out we all liked the Amritsari muchi, the chilli chips, rice, naan and the pau bhaji but our chicken tikka (both on the platter and ordered as a separate dish, was completed raw inside, not even pink. It has been seared on the outside and then turned. The team were great and sent it back to the kitchen for us but it meant about 25-30 mins before we got the food back and it was better 2nd time around. Will we revisit? Probably in a couple of months once theyâve had time to perfect things. The team are great and I hope theyâre really successful but the basics need to be in place first. Just a tip from us. We would also get glasses for the water as the metal tubs are like things chips come in in other restaurants across SouthamptonHi Lucy,Thanks for taking time out to provide us with the above feedback. We really do appreciate it as we can learn from your experience and ensure it doesn't happen again. Apologies once again that our chicken tikka didn't live up to the standards we expect to meet for all our dishes! This is something I hope would never happen again! We would love to have to come dine with us again in the future! Hopefully see you soon!

We ordered a takeaway from here Friday evening. The time got pushed back a couple of times for delivery but thought they would be busy being Friday anyway. Was no problem. The food was delicious, the only quibble would be I didnât like as much the mint/yogurt dip with the onion bhajis as it wasnât as it used to be, was much more yogurty. The Bhajis themselves were smaller than they used to be too. The actual curries we all got were fab though, big pieces of chicken and lamb which was really soft. My husband was a bit disappointed with his Keenan nan as there wasnât much mince filling. No bags on salad from here either as you get from other takeaways. But all in all we both really enjoyed it and it did us 2 dinners

I came across this restaurant as my favourite Thai restaurant nearby closed down last year as that's where I usually went for dinner when in Portswood, but I found a great substitute with this place. I had an early dinner and came in when it opened for dinner at 6pm, the restaurant became almost full by 7pm and this was on a Wednesday so it's obviously popular. It's not a big restaurant, it has comfortable decor and quiet surroundings, ideal for couples and friends. I chose a vegetarian chick pea dish and cauliflower baji which was delicious, I ate it all too quickly it was so good. There is a lot of choice on the menu, for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I didn't see the dessert menu, just had main meal. I recommend this Indian restaurant for anybody who loves curry, will return when back in the area which isn't often, but worth it.

Thai with friends for food and fun! Thaikhun Southampton can be located in the dining quarter of West Quay. With a large outdoor terrace area to sit back and relax in the summer and lots of cosy nooks inside for the cooler months, there is plenty of space
Someone recommended this place to me. I ordered the crispy squid and the spring rolls to start. It was perfect. The food is really good, great service, nice ambience. No complaints really which is rare for me. Lovely lovely place; donât ever change please. I have a new favourite Thai place. Khop Khun Kha (thank you) Fleurparfaitfor taking the time to share your lovely review. We strive to deliver Ha Dao (5* service) and pride ourselves in serving Khun Kim's traditional Thai dishes, it is an honour to hear these were both highlights of your visit. I cannot wait to share your comments with the team and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind Regards, Thaikhun Southampton
