Reviews on Asian food in Bolton, England, United Kingdom. Bolton (/ˈbɒltən/ ( listen) or locally [ˈbɜʏtn̩]) is a town in Greater Manchester in North West England. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown, and at its zenith in 1929 its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of cotton spinning in the world. The British cotton industry declined sharply after the First World War, and by the 1980s cotton manufacture had virtually ceased in Bolton.

Authentic fresh taste of Japanese sushi and other dishes.
A friend recommended we eat here, knowing my husband and I generally don't like fish or sushi. She assured me that not only do they do numerous other noodle/rice/meat dishes, but she said she would place money on it that once I tried the Sushi from this restaurant with an open mind, she was convinced I would be hooked. She was right!! Oh my goodness! I don't usually like fish, particularly when it's cold but this sushi was incredible!! So tasty and fresh. The chicken was tender and so tasty. The rice, perfectly cooked. The chicken gyoza, Its out of this world! The restaurant is tiny, literally only seats about 14 people at a time, so be patient if it's busy, because it really is worth the wait! Don't let the "image" put you off. They haven't invested much in the restaurant itself so it is not the most modern or salubrious place, but so what... the food is amazing and very well priced. They do takeaway also.Highly recommended.

Mangrove Indian restaurant is Bolton's only "Bring your own alcohol" fine dining restaurant. Our customers have been very happy with our policy as we are unlicensed to sell alcohol, and they prefer the savings made here. Our food is cooked to the highest
The starters were very nice, the main courses were nothing special, too many onions and peppers bulking out the dish, not enough meat and sauce. Dishes were tasty. Service was sluggish at best. It's just another indian restaurant

Our restaurant interior is a vibrant yet stylish mix of colours and textures. Complemented by sophisticated background music, we offer a more relaxed place to eat and a standard that other restaurants find difficult to match. We have created a sophisticat
Visited for the first time on Friday 1/11 with 3 girlfriends. The staff here are very attentive. The food was nice all four of us having different meals. Itâs quite an upmarket restaurant with chandeliers and comfy couch seating area and very brightly lit, however really noisy as the acoustics lend themselves to enhancing everyoneâs conversations so quite hard to hear ourselves. Dear JanMEngland,First I would like to thank you for the visit and taking the time to share a review. We do take great care in providing the best food and service to our guests. We are glad to know that you and your girlfriends have enjoyed the meals and the attentive service we provided. However, we can see that you had difficulty hearing each other because of the noise created by the acoustics. We will be sure to forward this on to the management to fix the issue urgently.Hope on your next visit, we will meet your expectations fully.

An amazing Indian Restaurant in Walkden located in Ellesmere Retail Park. Highly recommended by customers as "one of the best restaurants in Walkden" with top ratings including a 5-star hygiene rating by the local council. Newly refurbished, fully air-con
My partner organised a meal here (we live it anyway and visit regularly) for us and 15 friends and family members earlier in the month. We were offered the 'party menu' which had poppadoms, chutnies, any starter, any main meal and a side for £20pp which we took.My partner had messaged via Facebook to check whether the chefs could use some vegan chicken-style pieces in my curry which they did, and it was AMAZING!The food was all top quality, they threw in loads of extra poppadoms, sides etc and took really good care of us.Me and my partner have visited lots of times, including the event nights with Patelvis and NYE and have never had bad service or bad food. The staff cope really well under pressure and the chefs are amazing cooks and are well appreciated by the staff, often being dragged from the safety of their kitchens by waiting staff to be thanked by customers! The manager is really friendly and welcoming, the staff are the same and the decor is beautiful. Highly recommended, especially for vegans!! (photos of Karahi made with vegan chunks!)Hey Jade,We are so grateful for your kind words. Thanks for sharing your review with us and the community.Hope to see you soon Kamal

Food was very tasty but quite small portions for the price you pay. Not the cheapest of takeaways. Good variety of dishes.

We visited a restaurant in Bolton with this nome but not at this address, and definitely not worthy of the praise given by other reviewers. We visited a basement in âNoble Houseâ that is shared with an Italian restaurant called Portofino. Positive points - the staff were lovely and friendly. It was cheap. £32 for two people (2x starters and 2x main courses).Negatives - itâs in a grotty basement, the menus have dog eared corners and the plastic poly pockets inside stick together. The ambience is pretty grim, there was a PA system set up knocking out k-pop or other south East Asian singing at too loud volume, thereâs a loud doorbell noise to alert the waiting staff that food is ready to be served. Neither of these are as loud as the turn of the century nightclub carpet. As for the food. It was the blandest Thai food I have ever tasted. We wonât be returning.

I had intended visiting the Royal Balti for a long time. We visited yesterday and received a very warm and friendly welcome from everyone in the restaurant. After the popadumms and pickle tray (very tasty) we ordered 2 chicken tikka shashliks with mushroom rice and Jalfresi sauce. The portions were huge, very well cooked and presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasty meal which was finished off with fresh oranges and a small tipple. I took home a large "doggy bag" which has gone nowhere near my dogs. I've just finished the splendid food for my lunch today. Highly recommended. We'll be back. Dear geoffreym628We are very delighted that you dined with us and enjoyed your meal. We would also like to thank you for taking the time to leave your valuable feedback. We really appreciate your detailed compliments of our restaurant, which means a lot to us as we try to focus on perfecting all aspects of your dining experience. Please do join us on our social networks and keep us in your timelines by searching 'Royal Balti House' on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.Thank youRoyal Balti House (Restaurant, Take Away and Delivery Service)Restaurant Manager (Keith)78 Lower Market Street,Farnworth, BoltonBL4 7NYT: 01204 - 573515 / 570945
