Hi A great welcome when we arrived for our short stop over recently (29/30 May). Our designated self contained room was so very comfortable and we loved the glass fronted porch. The common over the road was ideal for dog walking and being self contained we did not (hopefully) disturb any other guests when taking the dogs for a walk. As for the breakfast, what can I say other than superb! We wish we could have stayed longer, another time then, we look forward to returning.

Rushop Hall is a mixture of 17th & 18th century architecture, recently renovated to provide comfortable four star accommodation for our guests. Set in 40 acres of The Peak District National Park, the views are stunning and the welcome from your hosts, Jan & Neil, warm and friendly. Bed & breakfast is available for up to 12 people (6 within the main house and a further six in our newly renovated early 19th century stone barn). Self catering accommodation (for up to 14 guests) is also available in one of our beautiful stone cottages. Rushop Hall is licensed to serve alcohol with evening meals which are available upon request in our brand new dining area.
We stayed in the main house for two nights and really recommend Rushop Hall. It's a very peaceful location but within easy reach of Castleton. The rooms are spotless and well furnished, with large windows overlooking fields. Breakfast was excellent - lots of variety and very tasty. The hosts are very accommodating and very helpful.

In the small hamlet of Woolley near Bude in Cornwall England, West Woolley Farm is a group of six cottages accommodating up to 26 people. We had a lovely stay in Mill House (2 adults 2 small children). It’s a great location to explore the surrounding area which is beautiful. There are lovely beaches nearby and plenty to do. The children loved feeding the animals in the mornings and the play barn was extremely useful for keeping them busy. Christina and Richard were extremely friendly and accommodating and we’d happily return in the future.

3 beautifully converted barns in a courtyard setting. Sleeping upto 14 people, the Mews sleeps upto 8, and has a hot tub. The Old Smithy sleeps 4 and the Retreat sleeps 2.
The retreat is a real gem - well designed and light with quality furnishings throughout. Good size for us and our two dogs, yet still felt cosy. The cottage garden is very private and beautifully planted, with the hot tub a very nice touch. Photos do not do the place justice! One of our dogs is a rescue and very nervous around people / new places - yet he was very happy from the start and we felt really relaxed in secure surroundings as a result. Lovely walks nearby; great pubs and thanks to Philippa for the recommendations, home made cake and fresh eggs! We will return...

Beacon Hill Farm has 15 4 & 5 star Gold Award cottages set in 20 acres of gardens in the centre of a 360 acre estate near the Northumbrian coast. We also have a Treehouse and 3 luxury Shepherds Huts- all sleeping two. We have a fabulous Spa easily accessed with a short walk through the gardens from all the cottages. Beacon Hill is a wonderful place from which to discover the beauties that Northumberland offers from the heritage coast to Alnwick Garden. We are ideally positioned to visit the many National Trust properties in the area. PLEASE NOTE:- The cottages are let for 7 nights minimum from April til October. The Treehouse and Hideaways are available for short breaks all the year round. Sorry, although we have Milo a Jack Russell, we no longer accept pets after bitter experience.
We had the loveliest 2 night stay at Beacon Hill in one of their pretty new Shepherds Huts. With surrounding views which were phenomenal, a hut packed with everything you’d need & more and fantastic amenities & facilities to use at ease, we had a brilliant stay. The guest book app worked so well to help guide our stay. The welcome pack was a delightful additional detail that made the start of our stay a warm one. We have stayed in many a luxury pod but none have offered us unlimited wood for the fires & bbqs. The grounds offered plenty for us to occupy ourselves with and we were a short drive from Morpeth for food and a couple of drinks one evening. We dealt with Alun & Clare during our stay who couldn’t have been any more accommodating by ensuring we had additional access to the spa when it was free, taking us & our luggage down to the hut in a golf buggy & having great communication with us throughout. I’d highly recommend to anyone & after seeing the touches that Beacon Hill offer for families and children, I wouldn’t hesitate to return with the rest of our family. A beautiful place ran by a welcoming family.

Me & my partner had such a lovely time whilst visiting the Peak District, and to top it off we spent the night in the cosy Gypsy Wagon! We only had one night at Hoe Grange but we wished we stayed longer! Everything was perfect, so peaceful and David and Felicity were so lovely! When we arrived Felicity showed us around, there was even a loaf of gorgeous bread we enjoyed for breakfast the next morning, home made cookies and milk available for us! The little secluded area by the wagon is perfect to chill and cook up a feast on the fire pit, we had everything we needed and the wagon was very cosy we had 14 hours sleep which is rare for us! We will definitely be visiting again and would 100% recommend to others, thank you so much it was a perfect little getaway!

For memorable holidays & romantic escapes, the Dandelion Hideaway’s hamlet of beautiful canvas cottages melts into acres of rolling Leicestershire countryside, with endless space for ambling, walks & discovery. Swap the daily rush for collecting freshly laid eggs, milking the dairy herd of goats and grooming Shetland ponies. Relax and spoil yourself, indulge in the peace, birdsong and starry nights. A delightfully memorable experience; truly luxurious glamping, with laidback rural days peeping into agricultural-farming life. We are the only glamping destination to have won the prestigious VisitEngland Excellence Award (self-catering) in 2014, 2015, 2016. In 2017, we achieved a milestone, winning the most prestigious honour from VisitEngland, winners of ‘Glamping Provider of the Year’, officially the best in England. The Trip Advisor story is the icing on the cake, achieving the Certificate of Excellence; 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017. In 2018 we qualified for the Hall of Fame!
A fantastic weekend with friends and family at Dandelion. This is our second time here and we’ll definitely be back. This time we had a lodge with a Hot tub, a great addition. We’ve played cricket and rounders as the weather has been wonderful but I did notice games like badminton set up in the games shack for if the weather isn’t as good. The kids have had the freedom to wander around the site feeling completely safe. The honesty shop is great for any extra treats and is stocked with some great locally sourced items. Sitting on the decking watching the kestrels and buzzards - it’s idyllic! Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended. Thanks to hosts Will and Polly for looking after us so well!

Surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside, Trevenna’s wooden farm gates, green meadows and leafy lanes lead to the perfect location for your Cornish wedding. Share Trevenna’s cluster of luxurious barns with your friends and family on a 1, 2, or 3 day exclusive use basis, taking the time to enjoy our 142 acres of idyllic Cornish countryside. Say your vows within the romantic Threshing Barn or outside under our handcrafted oak and slate Arbour with the Cornish countryside as your backdrop. Or choose our Garden Venue room; this comfortably sits 120 guests and with double height windows makes the most of Trevenna’s far reaching views bringing the outside in regardless of the weather! For a more traditional ceremony, the stunning St Neot Church is located just a mile away. With capacity for up to 120 day guests, our Garden Venue & Threshing Barn provide a neutral space for all styles of celebrations, all year round.
We couldn't possibly put into words how amazing our day was because of the fabulous work Trevnna put in. From the very second we saw Trevenna online we knew we had to get married there and we didn't regret one second that choice. The stunning location and secluded nature makes it a perfect getaway and the perfect chance to have a close weekend with your guests where you can take it slow and really take in evey moment. The accomodation on site makes it feel like such a close event and you get the extra opportunity to spend more times with your guests making it even that little more special. We have to give a special mention to our wedding host Jordan. He was amazing right from the start and within minutes of sitting down had calmed our nerves and had us laughing. Throughout the entire weekend he was attentive, welcoming and had ours and our guests' best interests in hand at all times. I have no doubt that the work Jordan put into our weekend made it better than we ever could have imagined. As impressed as we were with the food on the tasting day, we were beyond blown away with the quality of every dish across the whole weekend from the scones on arrival to the breakfast on departure. Our guests could not compliment these meals anymore. A special thank you to Trevenna for catering so well to our guests with allergies and dietary restrictions, I think our favourite quote was a guest with restrictions saying "he ate like a king all weekend". Something that not all venues/caterers would be able to achieve. Every member of staff was incredible throughout the whole weekend. The bar staff had guests in stiches, your gardeners/groundsmen were giving private tours of your gardens and chatting through flowers and vegetables eager to keep our guests entertained. We wouldn't be strained to find great things to say about every staff member we came across. If you're considering or questioning whether you want to book this venue, do not even question it, go ahead and do it. Rain or Shine having your wedding here will make it the best day of your life.

Just returned from a great week at weybread lakes, we stayed in kingfisher and it was amazing, as you open the door to your spotlessly clean lodge we were amazed to find everything you would expect plus lots of lovely well thought out extras such as the multi room Bluetooth speakers,I also really enjoyed a few hours fishing from the decking outside the lodge each day catching some nice fish up to about 7lb, then in the evening enjoying a nice relaxing hot tub, all in all a lovely place and will definitely return, the other great thing is you are left alone to enjoy your holiday but the owners if needed were just at the end of the phone
