I visited here with some work colleagues while on business in emmen. For a buffet restaurant this is one of the best around with wine and beer on tap also! The Chinese wok cooking section is great where you pick your ingredients and the chef cooks them to your liking with a sauce of your choice from the list. I will visit again when I'm next on business.

Well, the headline says it all, doesn't it. This is a place that you just have to visit a few times to really see how original and good the food is. Not only is it very tasteful, but the presentation and mix of flavors is always of a very high standard. It is hard to keep that level of quality in your restaurant over and over again. To come up with new and exiting ideas about your "dish of the month" ( this month its a pulled pork sandwich to die for ! ) Everything is fresh, service very good and welcoming. and you can see that they are all very proud of their restaurant. And as a regular guest I can say, The deserve to be !

It was very late hours, restaurant was open and they ready to service. We ate italian vegetarian pizza, it was delicious (may be we were very hungry, lol)

Thank you tripadvisor! Found this cafe restaurant through you. Family visit with young children. Scores high on all points! Friendly, quick service, food was good to see and good to eat. Bit like a busy English pub. Highly recommended!

Having been here a few times, I was surprised that the restaurant was listed no. 22 of restaurants in Emmen when It could be a lot better then that. Almost all ingredients are there, but the right recipe has not been found yet. Location is not bad, and the place has a very nice feel to it. We were sitting outside in a spacious aria at the front of the restaurant. Drinks were served quickly. So, the setting was there. But what was missing ? Hmm perhaps that the food was just good, nothing special. Meat ( Rib Roast ) a bit dry, and the tomato soup was almost a diluted Pasta sauce. Too creamy and cheesy. but all in all, not bad at all. The service was kind and helpful but during dinner they left the table unattended for too long of periods. I guess the place just needs a bit more professionalism. Paying a bit more attention to details. Taking away used plates quicker, and come by a bit more often to check for drinks. So, could be better, but 22nd is certainly not deserved !

We got Salad for 2 creative and very well presented, also pork tender loin and a t-bone, both main dishes with nice veggies, fries and coleslaw included. Great service, very gentle and helpful. Recommended.

We were in Emmen because we were going to the MotoGP at Assen 25 minutes away. We found Chef Burger thanks to Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. Good value. A warm welcome and we shall return.

I stayed with my sister and we decided to try this relatively new restaurant in Emmen. The ambiance is very nice with very attentive staff. The food was absolutely fabulous. My sister had âHete Roofkipâ a Thai chicken recipe and myself tried the âRendangâ a Malaysian beef stew. Both mains were perfect, we would recommend to add rice instead of chips/potatoes. The accompanying salad was perfect too. Highly recommend Thank you!
