Love the music - singer has a very good voice and he hits the tone with adult audience.Wine and cocktails are pricey though, has service charge (which is obviously not included within Dubai hotels & restaurants), and I would say Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah do have same price of. Mojito was quite expensive (AED62.00 plus service charge) and not even mixed well. I don't know how the barista mixed it for me. But suggest, the bar should employ baristas who are good in mixing drinks (or you need to train them)Lights should also be dimmed as you cant have a bar which is fully lighted that you can see the faces of everyone.

We ate at the pub several times. The quality of the food was great everytime but once. Our complaint was professionally handled and we left happy that time too. The staff was friendly and helpful in general too. The shaggy chairs and tables at the terrace get a big minus.Dear Laura M,Greetings from Al Hamra Residence and Village!Thank you for taking time to write a TripAdvisor review about your last experience with us.My sincere apologies for the inconvenience that caused during your visit; however I am happy to read that our teamâs efforts to make it right for you left you happy with overall experience. It was a long walk for the room, but we chose to walk in the heat. The water we ordered was ice cold and the beer was even colder. Sat in the sun had a swim and then ordered lunch. Fish and chips to share, everything was cooked on site. The fish was fresh and the chips were great, must have been the best chips in a while. Staff were friendly and once I had given them our room number they called me by my name the rest of the time we were there. One bill at the end of the day and we did not have to sign every time. Day 2 we ordered the Bookmakers steak sandwich again to share and again a great meal with polite service. Thanks for the great days.

Returned yesterday from 8 fabulous days at Al Hamra . This being the first time we had been back following the hotel becoming part of the Hilton group. The rooms had been refurbished to a high standard although I have to say they were luxurious before as well. The rooms are huge with wonderful sheets, pillows, towels and bathrobes. We went slightly out of season so the beach was quiet as the Arabian Sea is very warm. It was a shame that the little beach bar had been shut down by the Hilton. This was nothing more than a very small bar to the right of the beach but previously provided a good atmosphere where you could get drinks snacks and ice rather than going to the main beach bar which doubles as a restaurant. Katut (Katie) in the main restaurant was our waitress for the week , lovely young lady who was very friendly. In fact all of the staff make you feel very welcomed. Food was very good but on this trip they didn't do the big evening buffets outside ( not sure if they have permanently done away with this. The buffet in the evening was fairly expensive it came to roughly £65 for two with two soft drinks and 2 coffees I think they should include soft drink and coffee in with the evening buffet prices. But we ended up mainly going up the road to the mall (taxi about £1 each way) to eat in Shakespeare's . Highly recommended by the way, where we ate for a third of the price of the hotel buffet and was just as nice. Pool up by the gym we found was good, the pool being a nice temp just right in fact. The life guard very pleasant and attentive, although I didn't agree that he should act as a person who went and got people drinks and snacks from the bar. This took him away from his duties as a life guard . The hotel should issue him with either a phone line to the bar or radio communication so he can place orders that way and the bar staff can bring food out. I also think that they should not allow glass by the pool either. Oh and one last thing if you are walking back from the gym to the reception area be careful as one of the staff room doors opens out into the corridor (yep It took me about three collisions to remember the potential hazard) overall brilliant stay wonderful staff and I'm sure I will go back again when I need a chill out week
