Movenpick hotel and the restaurantâs ambiance is good but when it comes to food we were disappointed. It started with placing the order, where our order was not taken properly and there was mix up. The starters was served along with the main course. The taste of the food too is nothing great. The veg biryani was overcooked. What a waste of AED 105 for the biryani. After we finished with dinner, they didnât even clear the table completely. There were still used plates and cutlery on the table. We were visiting the place on the occasion of my brother in lawâs birthday; so we wanted to cut the cake, hence we requested them to clear the leftover; that was also not done completely and we had to request them again to clear it which was highly disappointing.The quantity of the portions are very good, ambiance is good but the food and service is very average.

We discovered a true gem in Indian cuisine. The food was delicious and exciting. Indian food made special by being tastefully distinct without loosing the integrity of the original ingredients. They have covered the varieties of Indian regional dishesThey have live music performances as well which gives a wonderful vibe. For the food started we tried - pudina hariyali machi ( well balanced taste ) , murgh gazala ( the taste could have been better )Main course - Laal maas ( best dish of the evening ) , murgh kalimirch ( happy for this dish as well) , cheese and chilly naan , garlic naan.Dessert- Gulab jamun and falooda ( it could not have been much better)More over thank you to the friendly team. Starting from server Ashish, chef anmol ( he tried his level best to make our journey exceptional), and last but not least manager Mousumi. Just back from another great meal, this time for my wifeâs birthday. I canât recommend this place enough, the staff do all they can to make it a great experience and the food is just the best. Special thanks to Ravi our waiter he was a real gentleman and looked after us so well. Even the managers took time out to ensure we were enjoying our meal. They also brought out cake for my wife as a special surprise which was a lovely touch. Thank you very much, next time we are back in Dubai we will definitely visit again if we donât visit before we leave next week. Highly recommend you try this, brilliant experience.

Simply the BEST Indian in Dubai over many years and has just undergone a makeover, however the core of great staff remain, and âChef Abdulâ continues to lead from the front with that welcoming smile...!! Youâve been closed for too long guys... but itâs so good to have you back... Dubai is not without a shortage of great restaurants for breakfast buffet. However, I believe that Sloanes stands head and shoulders above all others. The service is impeccable. The breakfast buffet, which includes an enormous variety, is of the highest standard. Food quality is incredibly fresh. The restaurant itself is very spacious and comfortable. It probably is a little bit more expensive but itâs definitely worth it. We were staying at the Fairmont and actually tried all the restaurants there during our stay. This was by far the best (which we kept until last), with Ba being our second choice that we also enjoyed. LMI is excellently decorated, and has different rooms - you can be in the kitchen, the garden, the living room. We didn't seem to have a choice but sat in the living room (we think) right next to the chef's kitchen (where u can see them cook). Service was excellent - thank you Arvind - he was very attentive, funny and made the experience more enjoyable. Miss India also came round and greeted her guests. My wife fangirled - until I told her this miss India is a character not the real one!! Which didn't faze her, she still wanted a photo. The food was excellent, Im just sorry I couldn't eat more! We had seek kebab for starter and the tandoori raan lamb dish which came with dhal for mains. Being from an Indian household we found the food authentic and delicious, my wife particularly loved the dhal. Loved the concept of the naan on top of the lamb dish. The chef also came out to greet us and recommended the delicious gulab jamun with pistachio and we had the Ras Malai too. Overall brilliant experience, trust the reviews that it's one of the best in Dubai and expect the price to match!! We loved the ambiance of the restaurant; from the entrance, to the paintings, to the décor and lighting. The restaurant is really big and can accommodate all types of group. The food is delicious and has a decent options for veg items too. The Awadhi Tarkari is a good combination of spinach and mixed veg; something different than the usual palak paneer option. The biryani was good too with such fresh aromatic fragrance. Our server Mr. Murali and attendant Mr. Randeep was friendly too and provided a good service.We visited the restaurant to celebrate my motherâs 55th birthday,; they gave us a complimentary cake which surely put a smile on our face. Would love to visit the restaurant again during winter for the view.The only thing we were little unhappy was after dinner the table was not cleant properly inspite of telling them again and since we wanted to cut the cake. However it was still dirty.
